With Sideshow closing, it's time to play everyone's favorite game, "What's going to go in that theater!"

Wow this thread was made fast, not that I didn't think it would...
Can we at least wait until the corpse is cold? This is a bit ghoulish sort of like a vulture circling its prey on the ground waiting for it to die.

Sorry. This thread was made out of knee-jerk response to Sideshow closing. Personally, I am a fan of the show and I just created the thread because I knew it was going to come. So, I said "What the heck".
Before people start saying it: It won't be THE VISIT. That show is waiting for a Shubert theater.
How long before a death watch is started for The Visit?
This seems to be the new in thing - betting on when a show will close. It matters not if the show has even opened.
Bill Durham, Amazing Grace, Dames at Sea, Allegiance, The Body Guard, Can-Can, Diner, Hamilton, Killer Joe, King Kong, Miss Saigon, My Fair Lady, Nerds, Rebecca (yeah right), Witness Uganda etc...
It's none of those

Thank you!
I want Dames at Sea so Laura Osnes can be back on Broadway!!
The only show that should book this theater is a star driven musical. It's too large a house to fill but sadly enough it can't find a hit but I give credit to Jordan Roth for giving Side Show a chance as it should have lasted longer!
Smaxie, is it The Bandwagon if thats still happening. Or Little Dancer?
Smaxie, obviously you are in the know, care to give any hints?
I bet its gonna be Little Dancer
I highly doubt Band Wagon is going anywhere anytime soon.
The Kennedy Center has a really strong relationship with Nederlanders. I can't imagine Little Dancer not going into a Nederlander house
Side Show was also at the Kennedy Center...
But Side Show was not a show that was derived from them.
Little Dancer is not coming this season as per a friend in the industry

I feel there's a good chance it's SOMETHING ROTTEN
Thats premiering at the 5th Ave Theatre in April. I doubt this theatre is gonna be dark through the spring
I'm not saying it is a good idea or a bad one for this show to take the St James, but I think it is going to be Amazing Grace. They have a lot of money and have just been waiting for a theatre to open up unexpectedly.

Hearing they may scrap the run at 5th ave and just bring something rotten in the spring.

I kinda love how Smaxie doesn't give hints but clarifies circulating inconsistencies.
Brilliant!
