It isn't a normal year, so with news of the French, circus like, production of The Little Prince closing: is there anything waiting for a theatre, & with producers willing to risk a summer opening?
If POTUS turns into a runaway hit, I could see it holding down the Shubert and SOME LIKE IT HOT moving uptown
I know “Once Upon A One More Time” is rumored for the Lunt but I feel like it would sell out the Broadway.

I disagree. The gays would for flock to it just because it’s Britney Spears, and it has crossover appeal similar to Six.

I think I saw on another thread that The Devil Wears Prada is rumored for the Lunt. Where do you think Once Upon A One More Time would go then?

Not in its current state. It looks cheap and unimaginative. It would pale in comparison to something like & Juliet which is likely coming as well. And in DC at least, it wasn't a 'big' show to fill such a vast theater.

Oh that’s interesting, but it would make sense. I read on another thread it was going to the Lunt after Tina closes but that’s my only source.
&Juliet might be coming to Broadway soon. Maybe that might be the next show in there.
Once Upon a…. Ain’t a big show. The Nederlander would work perfectly. It’s a ton of fun. I just came back from London and saw &Juliet. Hate to say it, but it’s the worst show I’ve ever seen.

& Juliet would be a great fit and May actually run in that theatre.
Otherwise, a series of concerts like the Lunt has done, may be a good option.
The Nederlanders are producing ONCE UPON... and intend to put it in one of the houses they own.
I know it will never ever happen, but I would love the Broadway Theatre to be turned into a thrust space with a smaller, reconfigured mezz and overall less seating. It's such a giant red cave and has been a flophouse this century aside from Promises/Promises and Color Purple.
The word has been A Beautiful Noise the Neil Diamond Musical after its Boston run this summer

It cannot be worse than Spiderman. That is by far the worst show I have ever seen on a Broadway stage!

I heard A Beautiful Noise will play the Broadhurst.
No shade to my boy Neil, but if the Princess of Pop won’t sell out the Broadway…there’s no way in hell he will.

Hugh Jackman, Bette Midler, and HAMILTON are among the only things that could sell out the Broadway for a yearlong run.

That’s like saying Tina Turner isn’t still the Queen of Rock and Roll. Besides, Britney has had several hits in the last “20” years to solidify that title. I don’t think that’s even debatable. Digress - I agree that the broadway is hella big and it feels like almost any show that goes there is basically committing suicide. We’ll see what’ll happens.
I have not used this word in at least a year, but patience. LOL

Miss Saigon and West Side Story played The Broadway. The Britney musical - and I stan Britney - is not on that level of production. Unless a ton of money was throw into it, I think it needs a much smaller house to survive.
Seems like all we're talking about is a bunch of jukebox musicals or movies turned into musicals. Sad.

Will probably take the Barrymore after Paradise Square.

I 100% agree. We just don't need a theatre like The Broadway. If they found a way to get rid of the rear mezzanine and created a thrust stage, it could be a versatile, unique, and sought-after space.
