Hello. As I was reading the reviews for "Birthday Candles", I remembered that Limelight used to be among the first to start a review thread for a particular show. I haven't seen his name on the board in quite a while. I was just thinking about him.
I was wondering that too. Also, I REALLY miss Whizzer's first preview reports.
Don't know... but jacobsnchz14 and I are carrying on his preview / review thread launch tradition. I hope we're doing it well thus far!

There is a whole bunch of "regulars" who are MIA:
etoile
Eddie Varley
onceadancer
Corine
Theatergirl
song and dance man
I know PalJoey pops up occasionally still, but I miss his regular contributions.
Good lord, Dolly, most of those on your list haven't been around in YEARS and YEARS.

And I wonder what happened to them?
Are they well? Have they lost interest in theater?

All dead.
My thoughts exactly. Death happens at any age so the assumption of “but I thought he was like 23” means zero. Even during the several years I got bored of theater and stopped seeing shows (yes, I was burnt out), I still came on this message board and posted.
There’s also that one infamous contrarian poster who I won’t name, who has been inactive since the pandemic…
The one with a massive anti-Sondheim chip on his shoulder whose hour is before 9 but after something else?
Remember that poster "Philly-(something)" who was constantly getting into fights, and starting threads...oh, the good old days.

Phillypinto, was it? He was something else.
Phillypinto! Damn, I forgot all about that.

Was Phillypinto the diehard Honeymoon In Vegas fan, or was that somebody else? Some really wild characters when you look back, lol.

...maybe he's like Beetlejuice?
Seriously though, he saw a lot of shows in the 60's and maybe earlier, so was a wealth of knowledge, & I enjoyed his posts about seeing shows I that era.

After eight, I was racking my brains trying to remember his name. I assumed he didn’t make it due to his age. I always enjoyed him bc he hated 95% of things. I was always going why does he go to shows,

They’ve never stopped posting. Just been using another of their many screen names.
I'm still here Dolly, I just lurk more now.
Pal Joey is still with us, just not on this board.
Jordan, I’m quite aware. I do occasionally miss the brazen trollery that account specialized in!
