Though I love it, I think it's not the brightest idea to move tiny little [title of show] to such a big broadway house.
So, I'm gonna have to go with Equus ans Shrek (can't wait to see which way that'll go)
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
]title of show] - I haven't seen it but [tos]ers love it and it seems like my kind of show Billy Elliot - My sister saw it in the West End and LOVED it, so I really want to see it. And I love the movie. Shrek The Musical - Amazing cast. Brilliant. I NEED to see this. 9 to 5 - Another amazing cast. I also NEED to see this one.
"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."
-Kad
"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
-bjh2114 (on Michael Riedel)
I'm looking forward to Billy Elliot most. I'll probably get around to checking out a couple of the other shows, but Billy Elliot is the one I'm definitely getting tickets to.
Aside from 13, you're also missing American Buffalo and Orphans with Al Pacino. Both of those are supposed to open in the Fall, no?
After seeing Tale of Two Cities in Florida I'm excited for Tale of Two Cities but my excitement is starting to wan a bit as controversy swirls around the show. I'm more worried about it now. I still love the show - it's a GREAT show. But I have my concerns.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
Well, TooDarnHot, differnt people like different things.
The story of Shrek (book-based or otherwise) doesn't really interest me. I outgrew fairytales long ago. But the cast does. You're interested in it for more than the cast, that's fine. At this point I'm not. Doesn't mean I won't end up loving it, but my primary reason will be for the cast ~ and only some of them at that. (No, Sutton is not included in that list. She's not a favorite but one I tolerate.)
OTOH, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Billy Elliot when I saw it in London and DO happen to think it's spectacular. You don't, and that's fine because we obviuosly come at it from diffeernt backgrounds and angles.
For me, that's the beauty of theatre...shows touch and inspire people ~ or fail to ~ for different reasons. And that's OK. :)
