I sent to Caissie Levy and the stage Manager of Violet about 6 weeks ago and to the stage manager of Beautiful about 3 weeks ago. Since Violet has closed I'm not holding my breath there but just wondering if anyone has had success on the other ones and how long it took.
^ 50+ requests per day?! I highly doubt that is true. When I stopped by the office at the theatre one day, there were only like 5 envelopes in the mail. (I was there when it was picked up.) Granted, that was before the Tony awards, but I can't imagine that things would have picked up that drastically. Plus, as of a couple weeks ago at least, people were still getting Playbills with the original cover, which changed months ago. If they received that many requests, I would think that the original cover Playbills would be long gone.
Heard back from Neil Patrick Harris today- Sent him a photo Via Hedwig and he sent it back signed and also included a cast signed playbill too (even though I did not ask for one or donate)- Pretty awesome!! Took 38 days.
I should have written straight to him. I wrote to the stage manager and sent my own playbill hoping it would make a difference but alas they just sent it back unsigned. However I did hear back from Pippin today! I got a cast signed playbill featuring the current cast except it is signed my Potts not Lopez. Also Miss Rene signed my Big Fish playbill and CD cover!
Today I got home and had a letter from "Newsies", with trading cards.... such a delightfully awesome surprise! Also, recently heard back from James Monroe Iglehart, Caissie Levy, Sierra Boggess (who sent a photo of her as Christine-- didn't ask for it so it was also a nice surprise) and Joshua Henry.
Great replies today from Rocky and Alison Fraser/1NT of Wicked!

I sent my Newsies playbill to Jeremy Jordan at the theatre where his new musical, Finding Neverland is playing and last Friday I got a reply! He signed my playbill and send it back which I am so happy about, especially since Newsies has closed.
