Received a cast-signed playbill from The Heidi Chronicles. No donation required.
"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." "Has anyone had any luck with playbill requests from any Roundabout shows? The only luck I ever had was with Cabaret."
I got a reply from Violet. They didn't send out cast signed playbills, but the stage manager was nice enough to got Sutton to sign 2 playbills for me.
Has anyone tried On the Twentieth Century yet? I'd love to have Kristin sign a few things, but is it true she just has her assistant send pre-signed photos and just return other items unsigned or not at all? I'd love for her to sign my Wicked playbill, but I don't want it to get lost again (I thought I would never get it back from Idina lol).
She has her assistant fulfill autograph requests with pre-signed photos. I know someone who sent her a whole bunch of stuff only to get a signed headshot in the mail that he didn't ask for and his original package wasn't returned to him.

Heard back from The Heidi Chronicles and Constellations today. Was especially surprised to hear back from Constellations since the show closed several weeks ago and I heard they were asking for donations for which I did not send one. Very happy, though.

I finally got around to emailing Christian Sebek (Broadway POTO's Piangi) the stage door photo I took of him last August. I also quoted the post I submitted on another thread that I consider him one of the unsung heroes of Broadway, in that he does a terrific job day after day.
A few hours later, I got the nicest email from him offering to show me around backstage if I get back to NY to see the show again. His friendliness made my day.
Audrey, the Phantom Phanatic, who nonetheless would rather be Jean Valjean, who knew how to make lemonade out of lemons.
After twelve days I got my CD covers back from Patti LuPone! Signed and personalized to me… no letter, but as long as I know she got mine I don't mind one bit! Not quite sure what it says before her name though… is that the word "love"?
This past week I heard back from Jennifer Nettles! I sent to her about 2 weeks before she finished up at Chicago. I asked her to sign a CD cover and if she could send a signed playbill. I think it got to her too late because all that was sent was the CD cover. Also the return address reads Malibu, not NYC. Nevertheless, I'm so happy she took the time to reply.
I saw Carousel in Chicago at The Civic opera and was unable to stage door. Has anyone ever sent a request to them? I'd love to have my program signed by at least the principle cast.
I was pleasantly surprised to get my 3 CD Inserts back from Kristin Chenoweth today. They were all signed. After reading what other posters here had said, I was afraid that they wouldn't be signed. Not to worry, they took about a month and all is well.
I'm going to be writing to Fun Home for a signed Playbill this weekend most likely. I've never requested a signed Playbill before. Do you include a self-addressed envelope with stamp for their convenience?
Every so often there was a rare moment of perfect balance when I soared above him.
How do you address the letter? Dear Fun Home Cast? Dear stage manager? Is it better to type the letter, or write it out? I hope these questions don't sound ridiculous!

Finally heard back from Wicked after over two months, but the playbill only contains 5 signatures.
Jersey Boys requires a $40 donation to BC/EFA and Something Rotten is asking for $30 donations.
I'm anxious to hear back from Finding Neverland because I heard they aren't asking for donations, and I sent to Fun Homea couple weeks ago with no response yet.

Anyone send to An American in Paris? If so, what address did you use? I sent to 1564 Broadway and received the envelope back with a "Return to sender: Not deliverable as addressed unable to forward" notice from the post office.

atuomala: What timing...I just got back from the post office where I sent out a note to AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. If for some reason I don't get a return to sender note then I'll let you know. Perhaps it was just the person delivering your letter who made an error.
Has anyone heard back from anywhere else for cast signed playbills?

That's weird, because that is the address I used when I sent to "Annie" at the Palace.
Is anyone gonna try and send something o Amanda Seyfried over at Second Stage? I won't send something in until I hear a few success stories (if there happen to be any).
