I'm finally going to write to Fun Home this weekend for a signed Playbill. What are the chances that they will want me to donate to BC/EFA? I'm a student... donating $20+ is a lot of money for me.
Also, since I've never done this before, is this how I would address the envelope:
Circle in the Square Theatre
235 West 50th Street
New York, NY 10019
Thank you for your help!
Every so often there was a rare moment of perfect balance when I soared above him.
I wrote to Fun Home, FN, and Curious Incident and included my playbills from when I saw them last week. I just realized that I sent the fun home one to 1633 Broadway which looks like the building address for the theatre. I'm worried it's gone to the wrong address. Has anyone had luck with this address?
$60 isn't an unreasonable request considering the entire cast signs the playbill when Larry David is the only one who really signs at the stage door. Shows with an all-star cast usually ask for a $60 donation in exchange for a cast-signed playbill.
"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." Yeah, you're right. I don't usually request playbills through the mail and stuff like that so I'm probably not the best judge. FYI though, when I went to the stage door everyone did sign if you wanted them to, but they just didn't formally go down the line like Larry did.
Oh! Okay, I just assumed because the signed playbills that are floating around just have Larry's signature on it and the video footage of the stage door only has Larry, too. That's good, though.
Also, Something Rotten! is asking $30 for a playbill. Has anyone written to/heard back from Finding Neverland? I heard they have been fulfilling playbill requests, but I sent to them about a month ago and haven't heard back.

atuomala- I ended up getting my mail back from that I sent to a cast member of "An American in Paris" at the Palace Theatre, too. Weird. I mean, it's not like there is any other address to be found.

Yeah, it's probably because no one really asked them too but a few did (including some autograph dealers who wanted as full of a cast as they could to sell). Larry is the main one though! (And the most in demand, so that's all that counts :)
Maybe the "Stage Door" needs to be specified? Mail has to be getting through to them some way. Has anyone had any success with An American in Paris?

Is anyone going to attempt to send something to Amanda Seyfried/Second Stage?

Today I heard back from "The Visit" and "The Heidi Chronicles"! Both stage managers sent me a cast signed playbill. Both only took under two weeks. Obviously, sending to Heidi now is a lost cause, but "The Visit does respond!
I wrote to the stage manager of The Way We Get By shortly once previews started and received an autographed playbill signed by Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski. Only took about a week and a half to get a reply!
Has anyone sent directly to Amanda Seyfried and had any success?

No to Kelsey Grammar. I sent a request out for a cast signed Playbill of Finding Neverland, and I've seen people get one and I haven't. Does anyone have any idea how long that takes?
Also, I'm sending a request to Studio 54 to ask for a cast signed Playbill for An Act of God. I would send my Wicked Playbill and ask Christopher Fitzgerald to sign, but I don't want it to get lost.
