I sent to Aladdin and heard back within a couple weeks, but I never sent directly to James. He is probably the most popular performer of that show, so it might take a little while.
"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." I sent James a signed Playbill request a few months ago and he responded. It took a really long time (over three months), but he sent me a signed Playbill and a short note.

Has anyone tried Helen Mirren over at The Audience? I'm in the process of sending to her right now.

^ I sent to an individual person in Fish in the Dark (not Larry David) and got a response back yesterday. It took about a month.

Seahag2, did you do anything special for the signed Hamilton playbill? Donation or send in your own playbill?

Has anyone tried It's Only A Play recently? Are they still requesting $50 donations, or has that policy changed since Nathan, Rupert, and Megan left?

For those who sent things to 54 Below… When exactly did you send it since their engagements are only a week- two weeks long? I want to send something to Patti LuPone this go-around in April.
Is it the same as sending something to the stage door.. a self-addressed envelope and such? And do I just send it to that specific place (254 W 54TH ST, CELLAR, NEW YORK, NY 10019)?
I have never written fan mail, obviously, so sorry if my questions are redundant and ridiculous!

I sent it a day or two before Patti's engagement began. My hope was that it would be delivered on the second day of the show. I figured that she'd have the time to sign it and return it at that point.

@jjohnson5 Aladdin requires no donation.

On the envelope, do I actually write "Patti LuPone" above 54 Below's address? All I can imagine right now is the staff opening it and jeering at me for fan mail, haha. I'm weirdly nervous about this!
I can actually write a letter and such correct? Not just a "please sign my album covers" note?

Anybody else hear back from If/Then? I sent a nice letter and a check for BC/EFA about 4 weeks ago. I know I'm not entitled to anything, I get that, but I did send a check without them first asking for it. It hasn't been cashed yet but we've only got like 8 days left now.
Some people mentioned they wrote and got a letter back asking for a check - how long did it take for that response?

I like a good rhyme more than a good time

I sent a request and donation to If/Then over a month ago and have yet to receive a response. Maybe the stage manager is waiting until the end of the run to fulfill all the playbill requests. I didn't receive responses from You Can't Take It With You or The Elephant Man until a week after the shows closed.
