Who have you gotten stuff back from? — Page 200

Has anyone had any luck with Come From Away, Hello Dolly, or the Book of Mormon? I’m sure there’s posts, but I can’t figure out how to sift through this thread in order to find them. Is there a way to search for a key word inside a specific thread?

 

Anyways, I haven’t sent any fanmail before but does anyone have any advice for first time senders? (Besides sending a second unsealed and stamped 6x9 envelope) What shows/actors do you need to pay to get a playbills from? I know that some shows may charge for a full cast signed playbill, but are there actors from those shows that send you them for free? 

Has anyone heard from Spongebob Squarepants, Latin History for Morons, Jersey Boys (Off-Broadway), The Parisian Woman, Farinelli and the King, and John Lithgow: Stories By Heart? Thanks!

It might get to him. I was going to try doing the same thing with Jason Robert Brown when Prince of Broadway was still running, but I didn't know at the time that the run was short. But if you believe (in life after love), then it will get to him!

Has anyone received fan mail from Phillipa Soo? I want to send to her before The Parisian Woman closes. I want to send her a Great Comet Playbill to sign, but I don't want it to not come back. I heard while she was in Hamilton that she responded to fan mail. Thanks!

Yes, people in Hamilton do respond to fan mail. I do not know who specifically though.

Also, I got back a signed Playbill from John Leguizamo (who's currently in Latin History for Morons) today! So to those who want to send to him, he DOES NOT ask for donations.

I received a cast-signed Playbill from The Children yesterday as well. 

I'm still waiting for responses from Spongebob, The Parisian Woman, Jenn Colella, John Lithgow, Farinelli and the King, Jersey Boys (Off-Broadway), Jason Mraz, and Noah Galvin.

Read the board... no one has heard back. I sent back in November and haven't heard back, either. Also, a cast signed Playbill recently sold on BCEFA's eBay for $200+.. so I don't think they'll be giving free ones away soon, or at all

I'm a student (and not a real adult yet) so I don't have checks of my own- I feel like sending cash for a donation isn't the best idea, would a receipt for a donation included with a playbill request work? (I'm sending to Anastasia). Thank you!
