Nope I just added in the end of the letter "I was wondering if I could possibly get a signed picture" and that it would mean alot etc etc. And I guess she just threw it in there haha. I've heard of other people who have gotten playbills from her too. It says "to Shannon - <3 from the barricade" on it. And her headshot, I can't find it online right now but it's newer I believe. Its the one in the playbill. It was on another cd promo I think. And I sent like 67 cents in stamps.
Love from the barricade, that is adorable! I love the messages she writes. On my last one she knew that the tickets had been a Channuka present so she said, "Oh, that means you're Jewish." She wished me a happy Channuka and then sat there sort of thinking and finally said, "I can't remember, how do you say 'with love' in Hebrew?" I told her I had no idea so she smiled and said, "Ok, then I will just write it like this!" I now have a playbill that says, "Rachel--with love in Hebrew! x! Daph" My dad got a real kick out of that when I got home. :)
Thanks for all the info!

-Elphie, everyday... shower. I mean, who knows? Maybe some of that green is gonna come off!
-Deodorant Elphie. No body likes a stinky witch!
-I think we've covered the hair, we'll get to that.
-Clean underclothes. That's all I'm gonna say.
-Look at your posture. That's no way to be popular!
-Bed made, room straightened. We've done that.
-Colors blended. Oookay.
-But the most important thing to have, to make yourself popular, is to keep your beautiful smile."

I'd also like to know about Spring Awakening people writing back..I just recently wrote to Lea and a couple of the other girls in the cast and hope they write back?
In the past I've recieved: Jenn Gambatese-letter Sara Ramirez=letter, then I recieved 3 signed headshots in like 2 months, it was very strange. Sutton Foster-autographed headshot Cara Cooper-letter Kelli O'hara-letter Katie Clarke-letter Megan Hilty-letter Mary Faber-email response Tracy Miller-letter Farah Alvin-letter
people I wrote to that never responded: Sherie Rene Scott Laura Benanti Amy Spanger Celia Keenan-Bolger(although that was right after I saw Spelling Bee for the first time so I am writing her again after seeing her and Les Mis and talking to her at the stage door)
I got a signed headshot and letter from Heather Parcells today.
Sherie doesn't reply, I don't think. I have written to her, some of my friends too, and nothing. I wrote to Laura reight before she went on medical leave and never got anything, my guess is that was why. But I just rewrote her because I saw her in the show so hopefully she'll write back this time. Amy takes a while I hear, but I know a few people who have gotten stuff back from her. I haven't gotten anything yet.
Celia wrote back to me (and many others) at the end of her Spelling Bee run. I wrote to her last December and recived a nice signed picture of her as Olive and a note from her on Spelling Bee paper. She is very sweet.
