Don't give up hope on Audra just yet. I just received a autographed playbill from her in the mail! The postage was dated 7/27, two days before the show closed.

After shows close is no different than while a show is running. As long as it got delivered to Audra, she has it. Some people just keep piling them up and when a show closes and they are less busy, they answer all of them. I can think of Celia who did that after Spelling Bee. That's what I am thinking with Ebersole, now that she actually has a chance to breathe.

How do you display a picture in your house if the signature is on the front with the photo itself, but the note is on the back???

Midoria - either pick one or the other, or make a photo copy of the letter. That's what I did with the photo/letter i got from Julia Murney. I scanned the letter into my computer and printed it so i could display both.

I use them on fanmail.biz. they work but theres a few that can't. I sent a letter to Norbert Leo Butz's management in CA but just had it back today saying wrong address sadly
But on the positive, I today had in the post

i was on vacation for a week...and came home to mail from lauren pritchard! she sent a playbill addressed to me signed by most of the cast, along with a very sweet note. i told her about how i want to go on to law school and everything and she wished me luck with it and told me she considered doing the law thing for a while too. crazyyy right?! (i'm really happy she stuck with theatre though!)
it's official. lauren pritchard is my new favorite. now i'm just waiting for mail from groff and gallagher.

thank you so much. i used that exact address. i have been confused about the zipcode. i sent mine in mid july to lauren and one in mid june to groff. i heard they were really quick at getting back to u so that is why i kinda lost hope! hopefully i will be getting those soon! thanks again!

heheee...no problem! the zip code thing had me confused for a while too. i've heard most of the cast is fairly quick on responding, but i always start to get impatient after like 2 weeks lol. 6 weeks isn't bad AT ALL considering how much those kids do. i wonder if the TONYs have influenced a sudden rush of fan mail or something... (especially with the boys!) i mailed lauren, groff, and gallagher around the same time...so now i must wait keep waiting for the other two. fingers are crossed for you though...i bet you'll get something pretty soon. =]

oh yeah, there probably has been alot of fanmail since the tonys. i mailed gallagherlast week. i am pretty impatient too! i will post if and when i get them. thanks again!!!!

I got a headshot signed from Audra on Thursday. It's not personalized and just says "Much Love- Audra McDonald" So I wouldn't give up on her...sounds like she's replying!!
I sent a SASE, so maybe that helped her get back sooner.
