did u send it to the theater? idk, i sent one to her agent or whatever thats on her site and she wrote me back the first time, i sent something back again and she didnt reply but, thats when is he dead actually started and i think she just got to busy.... i recently wrote her and i have a very strong feeling i'll get a letter back from her tomorrow but, im not sure

I, being new to the whole operation, just sent her an e-mail. I got an automated response so I thought oh well. About a month and a half later, I got an envelope from the theater. I am thinking she might have had some time during the strike...idk.

I sent another envelope to her near the middle of December for my friend and she got a reply around Christmas so it all depends.

I guess it does take some time because they're busy. But I sent a really short note to a stage manager from a show for a signed playbill, I hope I get it soon.

I wrote to Chaka Khan and asked her to sign a flier I had received in the mail. Not only did she send that back signed, but she sent a signed picture of her and a signed Playbill!

It is true that if you send something to a touring production and your mail doesnt get tehre until after they leave they forward it to the next city? (It's the WICKED National tour)

...I sent out mail to stage managers of Mary Poppins and... Young Frankenstein some weeks ago, and have not recieved a reply yet? I included a SASE, and a fairly short note. I sent the same time as TLM mail...and recieved TLM signed playbill weeks ago...maybe i'm just impatient :] Heh. Anyone know why I haven't recieved anything?...Thanks.!

How would I reach Sherie? I'm tossing around the idea of sending my already signed playbill from Wednesday night ... (Norm, Sierra and Eddie). I would LOVE to have Sherie sign it (instead of asking for a brand new playbill). Do you guys think it would work, and how would I go about sending it out? How should I address the envelope, etc., etc.? Any and all insight appreciated. Many thanks!

Standard mailing for someone who is currently in a show:

Actor's Name
c/o the theater where their show is
Address
Zip Code (Just like regular mail)

All Broadway theater mailing addresses can be found at: http://www.playbill.com/events/listing/1.html

Make sure you include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) in which she can return it to you.

do you send the envelopes with the metal clip things to close the envelopes. i think i havent gotten anything back from YF b/c of those clips. i guess i didnt put enough stamps on them or something.

Sent out YF and The little mermaid almost 2 weeks ago, still nothing back

sgv, the envelopes i sent have the metal clips and everywhere else i sent them they have been sent back (you need 2 stamps)

For those who have sent to TLM and YF for signed playbills, how long did they take? Thanks :)

thanks jklock. i was told by the post office i probably am not getting anything back b/c the other shows i have sent stuff to is paying for the extra stamps and YF may not want to pay for extra postage. i did sent the YF envelope with 2 stamps though, so we will see.

LM playbill took about 2 weeks for me.
