biggest CHENO fan, have you written to the Avenue Q cast in London yet? Get anything back?
Max, you said you received two pictures from Julie. Are they headshots that you are talking about? Also, do you live in the USA? If so, how did you do your SASE's? The post office doesn't do SASE for out of the country anymore. Any ideas?
Edit: They give programs in London which are the equivalent to playbills in the US, right?

How about for writers? I want to have my script of August Osage County signed by Tracy Letts..but since he's not a part of the cast, should I try sending it anyway?
The strangest thing happened to me today. Last week I wrote to the Little Mermaid Stage Manager asking for a signed Playbill for my friend's birthday. Today I got my SASE back, empty! It was so weird! The people at the theatre just kind of sent back the empty envelope. Do you think I didn't have enough postage? I put 80 cents on the SASE..maybe it should be more? Help?
For a head shot would it also be 2 stamps just like a playbill?

I'm pretty sure the postage partially depends on the envelope size. One big enough for an UNFOLDED head shot would require extra postage ~ hence the difference the theatre or actor is having to make up on your stuff sgv123.
I probably put way too much on there, but I'd rather have too much than not enough.

LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
yeah your probably right. i use 2 stamps for playbills and 1 for headshots and i have gotten stuff back for both ammounts of postage. i would probably put 2 on to be safe like jordangirl said.
I always send one more stamp than needed, just to give the performer or whoever is receiving the letter room to be creative if they wanted to throw in a little somethin' extra.
I'm pretty sure YF and LM send out the playbills in a mass once they get a certain number of letters and I'm pissed because I obviously missed that cut! I just sent letters to the stage managers of those shows on Saturday so I guess I'll have to wait just a little longer.
Yeah just a question that wasn't answered for above...
When sending something toa London show should you include money for the "programs" or do actors get them there for free anyway? Becuase I remember hearing that they're not free over there...is this even true?!
i got a signed playbill back from the little mermaid cast today! it took about a week, which i didn't expect. i thought it would take a lot longer, so i was really surprised!
Today I got back a signed Phantom of the Opera playbill which only took a week! And I didn't have a big enough envelope for it so I just sent stamps so I really wasn't expecting it for a while!
Yes, Megan does respond back...and in less than a week. However, that was early in the run so things could have changed. I did get a response in 5 days.
