The actors: Beth (that's me) and Lex (that's the salesgirl who befriend me over mutual adoration of Rent and Broadway in general)
Beth: *whimper*
Lex: What's wrong?
Beth: No Rent soundtrack.
Lex: *points up where it is staring Beth in the face* Look up.
Beth: SQUEE! *gasp as she tries not to cry because she ios an emotional geek on her period*
Lex: We have Angel, Mimi, you can't have Tom, he's mine.
Beth: Joanne? I wanted to show Tracie some love.
Lex: Never got one.
Beth: *is crushed* Mark?
Lex: No. And we sold Roger yesterday.
Beth: Dammit! *sighs*
Lex: We have Maureen.
Beth: My friend has her. I wanted Joanne or Mark. But...*snatches one off the shelf* I'll take Mimi. She lives in my head anyway. might as well, she's so gorgeous though.
Lex: Yeah...
*both stare dreamily at Rosario's sexiness*
Beth: Well, Alex is gonna get Maureen, Evie's getting Mark. Aubrey has Roger; I guess I should stick with my beloved character.
Lex: I understood only three names in that whole sentence and they were all the fictional people.
*bows and Angel comes running out onstage, the applause is thunderous* =8->
