Who's on your RENT Soundtrack Cover?

Mimi is on mine! I could have chosen between her, Benny or Angel(which I do not like that picture. I would rather have gotten one with Joanne and Maureen on the cover, but they didn't have any and I HAD to have it today!

They definitely did NOT have Roger... which really bummed me out, but I got Benny, so it's all good. It was weird, because the top two that I wanted, weren't sold at my store [stupid small town]. Regardless, my guess is I'll probably end up buying at least one more anyway...

Totally idina. if only she was in the damn cat suit.....I had to choose from the 4 we had at tower records, mark, maureen, collins, and mimi. I was getting maureen anyways

it took me a whole hour to pick, so i ended up with Idina and Anthony, they had all 8 and I was probably ten minutes away from buying them all

I didn't get mine yet for lack of decisicion making. I really want a mark one, but I haven't found one yet. I went to the best buy by my house and they had everyone but mark and roger. I'll probably continue the hunt tommorow..I may just end up getting mimi...or maureen or possibly benny.

At the best buy around here...they didn't have it out and on display until I told them that I came all the way out here to get it. So after a half hour of waiting (about 1:30PM), they pulled it out their boxes in storage and there were only Roger, Tracie, Mark, Angel and Benny to choose from. No Idina or Mimi...boo! Ive been saving my bdays best buy gift cards so I broke down and got two! haha.

So has anyone figured out how it's gonna work for the people who pre-ordred off of amazon?


P.S.- Yeah so amazon says my order isn't even going to be shipped until oct. 5th!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhh!

They didn't have character covers where I went. I don't think they released them in Canada.

Hellz yea MTVMan! I ended up giving my roommate the other cover...and of course, I kept the cover. 6 more to go...fudge, I'm too obsessed.

I doubt highly that Amazon will allow you to pick. They wouldn't let you pick the Jonathan Strange cover when it was in hardback, and there was only 2 to choose from there.

That actually works out well...it saves me from having to choose!


But what about the cover they show on amazon with the entire cast on it? The one that's been floating around...that everyone thought was intended for the soundtrack cover considering it says, well, "soundtrack from the motion picture" on it.

I just check amazon. And I noticed something.

Amazon listed the RENT soundtrack on disc 1 (Track 1: SOL to Track 16: ISTY) and on disc 2 (Track 1: LVB B to Track 12: LH-new track)

The one I have is: Disc 1 (Track 1: SOL to Track 14: OTM) and disc 2 (Track 1: LVB to Track 14: LH-new track)

Anyone else noticed the difference or the split in tracks?

I only had Collins and Angel to choose from.

I ended up picking Collins only because I don't really like that particular picture of Wilson.

Broadway_Baby, the cover that looks like the movie poster is the actual CD cover and the character cover is kinda like a slip cover type of thing with the image on the poster blown up.

Maureen, of course. My friend and I got the last two Maureens left in the store, phew! I couldn't have settled for anyone else, lol.
