Who are some of the nicest people you've met?
For me it's Gary Mauer, Bruce Villanch, Hugh Panaro, Jena Leigh Green, Stephanie Block, Tom Hewitt, and Brandon Louis.
Jenna is ridiculously nice. Like...you wouldn't even beleive me if I told you how nice.

Waited for Betty Buckley for two hours in freezing cold outside Sunset and she was absolutely wonderful. And looked like my gran.
Matthew Broderick was really nice at the Foreigner last year, both times i went he was very sweet and even said sorry to me when some idiot pushed my friend who was taking a picture out of the way!
Also Stephanie Block is one of the sweetest people I have ever met

Karen Ziemba is the nicest person I've met in over 30 years of working in professioanl theatre.
David Dukes, Pat Carroll, Vinette Carroll. And Rondi Reed, Morrible in Chicago's Wicked, is one of my favorite people on the planet.
Starbuck...Julia Murney keeps in contact with you?
Because I e-mailed her a few days ago and ... nothing. She read it, the hussy!
You know an actress that won my heart. Janet Carroll. "Who's that?" you say? She played Aunt March in Little Women. She came to the stage door after one of my shows (that Julia "No Reply" Murney was in, too)- and was the most warm and endearing person. She's very intriguing- her background- and I hope to see her again on B'way.

No contest....Michael Ball. Ran into him twice (at DRS and Piazza) at the theater during his last visit here...the second time HE greeted me during intermission and we chatted until we had to go back in the house. An absolute pleasure, funny and extremely kind(not to mention those incredible dimples!)

i've met many people that are nice, gracious to their fans etc, and there are a few people that i've gotten to know who are extraordinarily kind people.
marian seldes is a goddess, a saint to me.
cherry jones is also a goddess -- she really listens to what you're saying and takes it all in.
george hearn is the nicest most gracious man in all of show business, imo.
liz callaway & ann hampton callaway are exceedingly generous and down to earth.
when i was a mere child i would often see jessica tandy on the 104 bus going downtown (this is like seeing royalty on the bus)this was in pre-driving miss daisy time and she always had such a twinkle in her eye. "miss tandy--why are you on the bus?!" "well-it's just the best way to get around!" i think she was amused that someone my age knew who she was.
I totally forgot about Liz Callaway. She's an absolute darling.

John Tartaglia...I can't say enough what a kind hearted, and wonderful person he is...as is the rest of the Q family.
Well Greg Jbara kind of goes without saying..the first time I met him I was backstage so we had some extra time to chat, but when I went yesterday he took just as much time to talk outside. What a nice, gracious man....and then yesterday I went to this thing with three actors in Spelling Bee. I was kind of afraid when my mom went up and told him we were related to him..(we are, my mom's cousin just married his sister) but he was so nice and just played along. He called me cousin and gave me a hug and talked for a while...Sara Saltzberg too is a sweetheart.
Gonna put Michael Arden at the top of my list... for now, anyway. And good word *certainly* goes in for John Tartaglia, as well as Adam and Raúl (... most of the time, apparently.)
