She was transcendent. She deserves that win. The Sound Inside was the best play of the season. It is eclipsed by the showier, more hyped plays though.
Audible has the play on audio performed by Parker if you want to hear her perform it.

They announced in October 2020 their intentions to return to Broadway for the 2021 holiday season, but that has since been scrapped in favor of the mini-tour along the west coast. In the recent casting announcement for those productions, though, the producers stated that they still hope to return to New York/Broadway in the coming years.

it was a good play and she gave a GREAT performance.
i havent been paying much attention to this silly half-season nonsense BUT i have to say that Adrienne Warren, Mary Louise Parker and Andrew Burnap all gave absolutely phenomenal performances worthy of all the praise, so that is at least a nice outcome. (And couldn't be happier for Burstein and Tveit, both immensely talented Broadway veterans).
I will say that Lois Smith was fine but hardly special when I saw the Inheritance. And while I thought David Alan Grier did great work (in a tricky role), Paul Hilton was robbed, fleeced, hosed, and on and on.

Google Los Angeles Times (article from a few days ago) or just anything she’s said about anything when COVID hit. She’s eating Doritos at home in Wisconsin. By her own choice. You asking this validates you don’t follow Broadway.
