Cabaret. Sadly, my Broadway obsession *yes I am a late bloomer, leave me alone okay * began AFTER Cabaret had closed. However the music, the darkness, the loneliness really gets to me! Now all I have to do is wait 10 years for the revival of the revival (...is that even possible??)
Funny Girl
I'm taking this thread to mean a show that I've never seen a single production of, as opposed to shows that I've seen in some sort of revival.
With this disclaimer, I submit:
THE GRASS HARP. It's such an amazing score, I love every second of it. I'm sure it's a case of the cast recording being better than the show itself, but I'd still love to see those songs come to life on a stage.
PARADE
RENT
GYPSY
The favorite shows I've never seen are determined by the recordings that I listen to, and those change daily/weekly.
I've been on a couple of recent kicks, including, but not limited to:
1) Jane Eyre
2) Nine
3) WILD PARTY (Off-Broadway) - it's been the one most often playing.
4) Bat Boy
Really, melissa errico fan? I heard the JCS revival was amazing. Although, that's from people who saw the tour and not the original cast. I would have loved to have seen it, but it was the same time as my college graduation. I do have the PBS movie, and I absolutely love, though I could do without Jerome Pradon and Rene Castle.

Seen the movie, love the songs. . . never seen the stage version.
Shira. . . do u have the Nine Revival cast rec.? That show was amazing. . . You have to keep an eye out, and see that someday.
I know. My sister lives in Philly (go Eagles!) and saw it. She loved it Sebastian Bach was in it, and I can totally see him.
Uh-uh, I need to buy. I have the OBC, and I have "Unusual Way" as sung by Laura Benanti -- it was stuck in my head forever. I would start singing it on the N train. Literally.

A Chrous Line (although i'm sure i'll see the revival!)

Ah. . . yes I have been known to sing along with Laura.

I wish I could have seen Amour. I'm sure many people feel the same way since it only ran 7 performances. The "gossip" on the show was surprisingly good and I had hoped to catch it.
the last five years or bare
i was so excited they did a cast recording of AMOUR that i bought it. but to me it's very so so. gets a bit annoying on repeated listenings. (wanna buy it? ha)
Saw Amour ten times (hey, i am melissa errico fan).
Just to clarify, it played 17 performances, not 7

melissa errico fan- sorry for the mistype, i didnt catch that i missed the 1 in 17.
I was looking forward to the show but maybe it will play out of town in the near future.
BABY!!! I'm absolutely obsessed beyond belief, and pray I'll get to see it someday. I would've given anything to see the semi- recent Papermill re- mounting with Norm Lewis, Carolee Carmello, Michael Rupert... *cries*
Elegies: A Song Cycle. Damn.
Merrily We Roll Along. One of my favorite shows of all time... Roundabout should seriously consider...
Oh my gosh! I forgot about Baby! I LOVE the cast recording! I haven't been able to catch a production of it anywhere.
I wish I could have seen The Apple Tree, but I wasn't born till 1970. I already have my tickets for the Kristin Chenoweth Encores! production.

Yes, there's a name,

I have the album, not the CD, and I still love it and wish I could see it somewhere.
