Angle of music from Phantom makes me tingle and Glitter and be gay from Candied,I love the high notes.
Randall Keith singing "Bring Him Home" absolutely fantastic.

In AIDA when Radames and Aida are being buried alive and he tells her that no matter how long he has to search, he will find her again. It was my first Broadway experience and I was so touched.
Also, in RENT, when Collins sings I'll Cover You Reprise. It is so beautiful, I get chills evey time I see and hear it. I also have to agree that the Finale also gets me everytime.

most of children of eden....finale of Godspell just brings me to tears everytime I see it. Also, "How Did We Come To This" from The Wild Party. And...I know it's cheesy..but "Bring On Tommorow" from Fame makes me cry everytime I listen to it. Oh, and "I'd Give My Life For You" and "The Fall of Saigon" from Miss Saigon. Very Intense.

yes, i saw krystal l. washington, and i agree - she did make icyr especially emotional.
RENT - I'll Cover You: Reprise.. that song just kills me everytime I see it live.
Wicked - Defying Gravity.. from the "it's not her you want, it's me, it's meeee" on I get chills and just tear up. It's such a rush.
The Last 5 Years - Nobody Needs To Know.. I've never seen this show performed live, but I have footwear of it and the way Norbert performed that song is just stuck in my mind. By the end of it he's just this lifeless shell sitting on the bed. It was so heartbreaking to watch, and to know he did that night after night? Guh!

OHH!! I forgot!!!!
Wicked: I'm Not That Girl (Reprise). poor glinda. the green girl gets the guy.
AIDA: The huge chords that bang out during 'every story is a love story' from the 'this is the story of a love that florished....' on i'm as pumped as can be.

Or when Colm Wilkinson cracks....
Oh I forgot, Goodbye Love from RENT really gets me for some reason.
"glory" from Rent...I can't even listen to it without tearing up...OR "marry me" from Titanic...I literally sob
p.s....my brother wants me to put "the who's tommy" on here....I think i'll leave that joke up to your interpretation...
ALL of RENT. Particularly "One Song Glory", "Goodbye Love", and the Finale.
sumofallthings: I totally agree with you on that! LaChusia's version hardly gets the recognition it deserves on this board (probably because Idina Menzel wasn't in it,) but I think it's far superior to the crap that was Lippa's. It's chilling to think about that production, it was so moving.
Some of my most touching moments:
The final seconds in the NINE revival when the staircase revolved showcasing all the women in Contini's life one last time, and then as he turns around Luisa runs onto the stage right before the lights go out - it was beautiful.
Various parts of RENT, obviously.
The confrontation scene between Hirsch and Metwally up through the end up SIXTEEN WOUNDED was remarkable.
In GYPSY when Louise looks into the mirror and realizes that she's pretty for the first time.
Almost all of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE
Les Miz
Empty chairs at empty tables. This song always makes me sad.
totally the end of aida. wow. when that box closes on them. i cried both times i saw it.
i also had a lump in my throat at the end of cabaret. john stamos is a god.
Fantasies Come True during "Avenue Q"
I'll Cover You (reprise) during "Rent"
the finale of "Les Miserables"
Don't Cry Out Loud during "The Boy From Oz"
I Am What I Am during "La Cage"
Your Daddy's Son during "Ragtime"
And although I've never seen it, "Sunday" and "Children and Art" get to me everytime I listen to the recording of "Sunday in the Park With George".
Randal Keith-Bring Him Home
Hugh Panaro: End of The Phantom(It's Over Now The Music Of The Night)
Wicked: For Good
Jekyll and Hyde: Someone Like You, In His Eyes
AIDA: Everything in the show
RAGTIME: Daddy's Son, Make Them Hear You (THIS SHOW IS TO ME THE MOST POWERFUL ONE, Sob fest)
I agree with "It's over now, the music of the night"
Also the Finale of Miss Saigon, when Chriswalksin and Kimgoes behind the curtain, you hear ashot and Kim rolls out. Then:
Chris: Kim!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What have you done Kim? Why?
Kim: How in one night have we come so far?
(MUSIC)
And of course I'll Cover You(Reprise)and For Good

Musical theatre, and the concept of it is touching to me in addition to every show I have ever seen. It's so different from anything else out there. It gives me something I don't get anywhere else, and it's something everyone needs. I'm just so thankful!

the whole show of 'rent' left a huge impact on me and was very touching.
when i saw wicked, 'the wizard and i' touched me too. i dont know if it was because the song is beautiful, idina is amazing, or if i was just so excited to actually be seeing it live.
'if i cant love her' from batb is just gorgeous.
also 'theres a fine, fine line' touches me whenever i hear it.
"Somethings are Meant to Be" -- Little Women
I cried so hard. Nothing is really happening in that scene except for Jo having her head on Jo's lap but the words and the emotions.........it was amazingly beautiful.
