There are so many shows I wish I had seen, but ones that haven't been mentioned yet are Batboy, The Wild Party, and Marie Christine. I would say also The Last Five Years and Parade. But, to be fair, they were out before I really got into musical theatre.
Yeah the phrase "countless" definately falls into that category!
Oy!

I could go on forever!
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

ENJOLRAS: YES, YES, and DEFINATELY YES! Jane Eyre is a good C. D, but the actual stage show flopped, but left quite a following. If you like shows such as Phantom, Les Miz or Woman in White (Another good one) You'll like Jane Eyre.
MARGARET: "Clara, stop that. That's illegal." - The Light in the Piazza
"I'm not in Bambi and I'm not blonde!" - Idina Menzel
I recommend "Jane Eyre" even if you don't like "Phantom," "Les Miz," or "The Woman in White." I don't think those are in any way a prerequisite for liking "Jane Eyre." I find the JE score to be superior to the other three mentioned though I like each of those others to a certain extent.
As for the productions I wish I'd seen:
Ragtime (saw The Sound of Music instead...what kind of horrible mistake was that -- well, I was 13) Taboo Caroline, or Change Jane Eyre A Class Act A Man of No Importance Parade The Frogs Sunday in the Park with George (even though I wasn't born then and I didn't count any other pre-birth musicals, it's so rarely seen!!)
I'm very glad to have seen Assassins and The Light in the Piazza, as those would have been some of my biggest regrets. Updated On: 10/18/05 at 11:08 PM
