You're probably right. I also hate puzzles so that's probably why I'm a little annoyed with this.
They would be more fun if they were well designed and pretty to look at... and if you had a chance to actually guess them all. It's annoying that some of them will be original works that you might have never heard of us... how would you even guess them? They should either exclude those or do use a picture that gives you a clue about the TITLE of the show, not something related to the content or lyrics of the show that you would likely not know if it's a new show^^
Now that I'm thinking about it, the alligator could also be Memphis. There is a character named Gator with a pretty memorable "Hello!" Moment.
Can number one be a time step?
Surprised that The Bodyguard is coming to the Papermill, in London the original production and the upcoming production have/is played/playing a Nederlander theatre, so you would think the same for the US, even if it was in an out of town try out or mini tour of Nederlander houses, before gauging if this is good enough for New York.

This got me thinking. Time step? Step in Time? Mary Poppins possibly?
Could be the Lend Me A Tenor musical
^ That's what I said (unless you have me blocked)
That's also what I said.
Sorry about that Fantod I missed a whole page of posts reading this on the iPhone - fat fingers. Saw yours Lizzie and you didn't mention musical so I thought you meant the Broadway show. And Fantod should I be blocking you? Are you known to be blocked? ??
^ Lot of people hate me here. Just ask Jordan. And it's not problem, I was mostly just agreeing with you. I'd be interested in seeing it, though I'm not really sure how well farce adapts to being musicalized.
Good job everyone! I think everything was guessed in this thread!
Here is the season:
The Producers
The Bodyguard
A Comedy of Tenors
Mary Poppins
Million Dollar Quartet

Mary Poppins, The Producers, and Million Dollar Quartet? I know they need to make money, but come on Paper Mill. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
Yeah that's an awful season save for The Bodyguard.

That's funny.
I keep thinking I really should buy a season ticket as it's often hard to impossible to get a decent seat last minute. But it doesn't sound like next season is the season to do it. YAWN!

Don't understand the anger- Mary Poppins and The Producers are both very charming shows in the right hands, and Paper Mill is certainly capable.

It's not anger, it's boredom. Unless they get Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick of course.

I have it on good authority that they already have Bialystock and Bloom cast with a pair who are no strangers to each other, nor Paper Mill.

My first thought here would be McClure and Danza. I know Danza has already played Bialystock and I think McClure would make for a fantastic Bloom.
those clues were terrible. Excited about The Bodyguard & Mary Poppins. The rest, not so much.

THIS would get me to sit through The Producers again in a heartbeat. Adore both of them. Saw the show back in 2005 and absolutely hated it.
Save for The Bodyguard and Mary Poppins...what a snooze of a season.
