^^I was thinking the same thing. Yes high def is great for some things and not so great for others. I am sure retouching will happen later on...

I like the kids...

The flying looks more real in the Cathy Rigby version. None of them looked comfortable in the air.

HAHA. Carlos, I love how something long resolved and over with is your comeback for such a stupid statement and question. Moron. Bye!

You people are too F**KING much.

Some guy came on here earlier this week and made a comment, something to the effect of "Well I know you all have your knives out for Peter Pan" and you all got so offended and indignant and all the following posts were of the "whatever do you mean? Knives out? Us? How dare you." variety.

And I just rolled my eyes knowing that a good group of you were just waiting to immediately trash it.

Thanks Broadwayworld. You never disappoint.

Alison has a nice voice but her acting and that accent is just awful!

Let's wait and see if Walken can improve the show.

Why is there a little catch in my throat every time the kids fly too? I love the set that they all flew over, really loved them going out through the window, with little MIchael running to get his teddy bear. They are warming into it very nicely so far.

I think this is so cute so far! Allison's voice sounds a little nervous but I think she's great! It barely started. You all are being too harsh.

With the line "Tinkerbell, come on!" she threw in what little towel she had.

Why isn't O'Hara playing the lead? Can anyone explain the last 25 minutes of NBC prime time, given over to the actors playing Peter and Wendy, who have had these roles for months?

Borle and O'Hara took the air out of the room with them. And where, where, where is the flying against the night sky? Where is Jerome Robbins?

No.

@ Matt Rogers: No YOU'RE too F*CKing much.

I made sure to get home early because I was EXCITED to see this, even though I don't like Walken very much. So stop talking for the rest of us on the board.

I was looking forward to this and so far it's been a complete LET DOWN.

I am entitled TO MY OPINION.

The kids are amazing, but Allison is just not theatrical or magical enough. Peter needs a bigger personality! Her Peter is too ordinary…

Peter Pan was originally a show for adults. Everyone in that time period understood that the Lost Boys were dead."

WHAT are you talking about???

Well, this show was the most boring show they could have chosen to perform in the first place. Years ago, I took my nephew and niece to see the show and they were not engaged at all. It's quite dated and the structure is odd.
