...for his performance in the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Cher. WOW! Not sure current categories would accommodate this; if not, revive Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program. He’s way deserving!
Okay. Let me just get this sent to all my old chums at the television academy to make this happen. Anything for you Millie

I thought it was bland. God that's a dank song without the drums.
Or an Emmy for Outstanding Individual Performance for Trying a Little Too Hard.

someone is just a bit too bitter (wonder why)
I mean he was good, but is he getting this attention only because the rest of the Honors sucked?
Hey, I dug Cyndi Lauper. Didn't try to put some kind of spin on it, just turned up the volume on the guitars and belted the **** out of "If I Could Turn Back Time."
There is no category that would fit currently. I have no opinion on Lambert, but I would love to see a variety category that keeps people from Saturday Night Live from winning Emmys over more deserving performances.

Although I don't agree with the Emmy, I thought his performance was pretty impressive. I think if anyone in the industry ever doubted his ability, he proved that he indeed has the talent. I just loved watching his emotional facial expressions, while he was singing.

Pretty sure that having your performance bring Cher to tears qualifies as the Gay Emmy.

While Adam was singing, the camera zoomed on a guy, younger, dark hair, big smile, maybe Latino. Can anyone tell me who that was? He's very attractive. My radar was going off, but it has known to be wrong...sometimes.

Anthony Ramos? If that's who you mean (and I don't know who else unless it is one of the Hamilton honorees) then you must've missed his own performance on the very same stage within the last hour. Oh, and no; you need a tune up.
I believe you are referring to Anthony Ramos who was the original John Laurens/Philip Hamilton in Hamilton on Broadway.

Thanks. I didn't watch the show. Just the clip of Adam singing, after I read the comments here.

I thought one of the commercials was really clever. Can we do an Emmy for that?
