What are your five favorite scores from shows that did not run long? Mine are:
1. MACK AND MABEL
2. ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT SMELL OF THE CROWD
3. THE ROTHCHILDS
4. TWO BY TWO
5. THE HAPPY TIME
I also love I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE ,MR. PRESIDENT, LITTLE ME, WILDCAT, THE GRAND TOUR and DEAR WORLD.

"Carrie." Hands down.
"Baby" is considered a flop. At least, it was in Ken Mandelbaum's flop Bible, "Not Since Carrie."

Posted: 4/28/05 at 11:07amWhat exactly constitutes a flop? In Mandelbaum's book it's any show that ran less than 250 performances, but nowadays it's mostly designated by how much money a show loses. Like, isn't TMM considered a flop despite the fact that it ran for two years and swept the 2002 Tonys?
