Other than the usual "omg For Good!" type songs, what do you feel are very deep and emotionally testing songs that seem to get you and you can really feel the emotion?

being alive (company)
unworthy (assassins)
not a day goes by (...i forgot jeje)
no more (itw)

Thats a beautiful song I find myself listening to quite a lot. especially since the entire show is so damn nice to listen to, even though a lot of people dont really like it, but I think that it was issues with the book
A lot of songs from The Last 5 Years were the first thing that came to my mind when I read the subject, and then "Without You" and "I'll Cover You (reprise)" from Rent, and almost all of the stuff from Light in the Piazza. Those are just the first that come to my mind.
ooh yes! the last five years is perfect for this thread! 'Still hurting' is so depressing!! And i haven't even SEEN the show yet!
Hmm... The first one that comes to mind tonight is "On My Own" from Les Miserables. It's so beautiful yet so honest that it's painful. Gives me chills every time.
my fav from les mis is I Dreamed A Dream, gets me everytime.

Tell me On A Sunday always makes me cry. I will never forget the first time I heard Bernadette Peters sing it in Song and Dance. She had a terrible cold and so performed that night with a box of tissues in hand. When she finished "Tell Me On A Sunday", she could have passed out tissues to the entire audience . We were all sobbing.
