Who's going? I already bought my tickets for the summer and I wanted to know if anyone is planning on going this week and if they are going to write a review.

I'm going on April 1st (the 5th preview), so I'll let you folks know.
Wait...Tarzan has a lotto? I have been trying to get info on this, but can not find it on any of the sites. Does anyone have any more info about it, such as what time it starts, how much, etc.?
Thanks!

Same as Wicked. $20 for the front row, 2 1/2 hrs before curtain.
Great thanks for the info!
Not really the same as Wicked, Wicked is $25. I'm just joking around, please don't take this as being nasty.

I'm guessing 5 days from April 1st? It does sound like its going to be a spectacle. Any pics of the marquee renevations or whatnot?

The first preview is Friday. They aren't doing a full schedual yet.
But I'll be at lotto on Friday!
The marquee and theater were still a big construction mess when I went by a couple days ago. Hope they get that done soon!!

Seems interesting...with all the technical stuff they are doing onstage. I can't wait to read the reviews as well!
idinarocksmysocks!510: How do you know it's going to be good? Am I missing something? I've been trying to find stuff on Tarzan, but have only come up with a couple of articles from the Post and a clip of their wire tricks. Send info. my way! :)

I'm sure they'll get it all cleaned up and running, technically speaking. It's Disney after all. Unfortunately, the Disney brand also means it could be nothing more than a theme park show.

I'm afraid of the lotto for this show, becuase I would imagine there is a lot of high wire-type swinging in the air stuff, and I don't know If I want to put that much strain on my neck the whole time by looking straight up.

for some reason Disney has me by the balls on this show... there is so little info and they have done such a good job keeping everything hush! I'm intrigued and very much looking forward to seing this production. I hope this show exceeds my expectations.
nypj, i feel exactly the same way. I'm SO interested in this show. They've done such a great job keeping everything so hush that it seems so weird that previews start tomorrow! I cant wait.
i wish i could be there... praying i go soon!
EDIT: just looked on the official website... cast album coming out in JUNE!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
If nothing else This will be an Event.
Disney is making the Rodgers look like a Theatre in the days of Yore.
The Re-Construction is Amazing!
I hope the show inside is as good as the one Outside.
and i still want a pic of Zepka in a loincloth in front of the Theatre.
Can't wait to hear the first night preview Buzz.
