Kiki and Herb is a musical review, so you could add that to the list at the Helen Hayes in August.

Cry Baby--announced, it is supposedly premiering in Seattle before Broadway.

You forgot The Coast of Utopia. It's a play. It'll play the Vivian Beaumont but I don't know when.
Mattbrain, the title of the thread is "Musical Season", they didn' foget Coast of Utopia. They left out all the plays (Butley, Vertical Hour, Jay Johnson, etc.)
P.S. When was Cry Baby announced? I don't remember hearing anything.
Wow, the Tonys will be competitive!
I think the winners should be
Sets-Mary Poppins
Costumes-Legally Blonde
Lights-The Pirate Queen
Featured Actress-Daphne Ruben Vega (Les Miz)
Featured Actor-?
Actress-Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins)
Actor-David Hyde Pierce (Curtains)
Score-Mary Poppins
Book-Curtains
Director-?
Choreography-Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde)
REVIVAL-A Chorus Line OR Company
MUSICAL-Curtains OR Mary Poppins
Wow... 2007 Tony predictions in July, '06! I think AshleyBrownFan set a new record!
It's amazing how you can predict the winners when no one has seen the shows?
How about Gary Beach for Featured Actor (Thenardier in Les Miz)?
Though her show needs to try to last 'til spring, I do think the one category that seems safe to predict is Actress in a Musical for Christine Ebersole in Grey Gardens. Even should the show not last, Ebersole would probably still get retroactive votes (though Audra McDonald has a Tony bait role in the 110 in the Shade revival).
what about A Tale of Two Cities or Zhivago? I'm hoping one of those will make it. although, maybe this season is being a little too optimistic.
I have a feeling score will go to Pirate Queen seeing as it is Schonberg and Les Miz will also be open at the time. Just a guess.

How are we predicting the Tonys when none of these shows have even opened yet? Seems a little ridiculous.

I don't get how we can predict lighting will go to Pirate Queen when we haven't even seen the show!
Also, Sister Act: The Musical is premiering here in Atlanta in January, but I think it's safe to say it won't open on B'way this season.
I dont see how we can make next year tony predictions while some are still coping with the terrible travesty that was this years awards. coughbestrevivalcough

Just be glad the show made back its investment and wasn't a big flop.
But anyways, seems like this season will be crowded, as will the best revival Tony. I wonder if Les Miz will even get nominated considering it's not even a restaging of the show, it's pretty much the exact same thing that was on Broadway only a couple years ago. Granted, that could be said for the A Chorus Line revival as well.
I am very excited to see so many musicals opening and hope for a good amount of straight plays as well. It will be good to see theatres filled with shows so we have a decent variety to choose from. I hope most are running by next Spring. As I don't think I will make it until then.
I really want to see Grey Gardens, A Chorus Line and Spring Awakening

I definitely think this will be a fantastic, fantastic season. It just feels like it's going to be amazing.

I've seen this way too much on this board. It's REVUE, not review.
BTW, I seriously doubt the Les Mis "revival" will be eligible for Tony Awards.
C'mon, we were predicting next year's awards the day after this year's. ^_^
I think the Les Mis revival is *just* eligible for awards, and I reckon it'll get nominated, but I think any wins it may get will be for actors only. And I'm so mainly thinking of Gary Beach here.
I really hope that Les Miz is not eligible for Revival. It's obviously an open sham to boost ticket sales for a show that barely closed to begin with. Has the staging really even been changed that much?

It's no different than the Chorus Line revival. It's a by-the-book revival.
