Maybe this should be off topic...but considering present company, maybe not. What CDs currently live in your car?
I have a 6-disc changer, so right now I'm jamming to: Hairspray Film Soundtrack Billy Elliot 110 In The Shade Revival Muse: Black Holes & Revelations Vanessa Mae: Greatest Hits The Pirate Queen
The actual CD's in my car, aside from everything on my iPod, are... The Wedding Singer Rent (movie) Wicked See What I Wanna See Hairspray
"For example, if I should paint my fingernails green -
and it just so happens I do paint them green. Well, if anyone should ask me why, I say: 'I think it's pretty!'"
I walk everywhere, so my feet are like my car, and I have an iPod sooo...
Currently am mostly listening to: 'Evil Dead: The Musical' 'Floyd Collins' 'Hairspray' (movie soundtrack) 'Into The Woods' (Broadway revival)
And I have a marvellous playlist that combines all the Philip Quast, Anthony Warlow, and John Barrowman that I have, so I like to listen to that one too. :3
I need to get around to getting the "Floyd Collins" CD. It's one of those things that you see eyeing you from the rack at Borders, and you eye it back, and there maybe some flirty holding and fondling going on, but you end up putting it back for "Curtains," or something like that.
Y'all should DEFINITELY get 'Floyd Collins'. If me telling you that doesn't convince you, then look for the 'Floyd Collins' thread I created the other week. There's a whole lotta love going on in there! :3
B3TA07--You said it PERFECTLY. That always happens to me, and I end up getting the newer cd, usually because everyone's talking about it on here and I wanna know what the hell is going on.
To answer the thread-in-question, nothing 'lives' in my car, because I'm anal-retentive about keeping things nice, but things there's one CD that has well over a 50% chance of being found in there:
A couple of french fries that I dropped and can't find.
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
Lately I've been listening to A Little Night Music (OBCR), Nine (OBCR), The Wild Party (OBCR), Sweeney Todd (OBCR) with some Follies and Caroline, or Change.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

"Who says you can't bend over backwards and eat bugs if you want to? I guess the bugs would probably say you can't do that that, but assuming that they are willing and consenting bugs, then there's no problem. Let's wig out eating bugs."

Hedwig and the Angry Inch Wild Party (Lippa) Aida We Will Rock You (feeding my current Tony Vincent obsession) Cabaret revivial See What I Wanna See
I usually have the Rent obcr in there but I'm seeing it in August and I want the show to be as "fresh" as possible.
Does the sun really rise in the east?
Does the earth really spin around the sun?
What's it matter in the least?
What's real to me ain't real to everyone.
I literally just took the CDs out of my car yesterday because I got one of those tape adapter thingies for my iPod, but I had the apple tree, high fidelity, spring awakening, last 5 years, Sweeney Todd(revival), Jacques Brel...(revival), Grey Gardens OBC was in there at some point, too...
My high school girlfriend, her husband, and their new baby.
"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
