What celebs would you like (or not) to see in Legally Blonde. Go wild. Sarcasm/Snarkasm is accepted.
Paris Hilton as Elle Woods!( not really)=-)

Kristen Bell as Elle. She's just like amazing. And she can sing well, might I add.
If they cast Paris Hilton, not much acting would be required. Can she sing? I Hope not...

Hell No....have you heard her music?=-)
Bea Arthur
Marissa Jaret Winokur as Paulette.
My choice from the beginning.
The only actress I would pay money to see in the show is Kristen Bell, who can act and sing wonders around Laura Bland Bundy and has great presence and excellent comedic skills.
Didn't Rachel Dratch play Paulette during one of the workshops? That would have been fun to see.
Diana DeGarmo as Elle, she showed great promise as Penny in "Hairspray".
I wish I could have seen Annaleigh Ashford as Elle. She really seemed a better fit for the role than Bundy.
Jessica Simpson as Elle. No matter what you say, She can sing, and I think she could really pull off a "dumb blonde" :) Something that Laura Bell doesn't really do to the max, IMO.
I would also love to see Kristen Bell as Elle. She would blow the roof off the place!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuI'm with theaterkid1015. Bea Arthur all the way! Rue McClanahan and Betty White as the sorority girls. And Elaine Stritch as Paulette.
Kristen Bell as Elle
Victor Garber as Callahan (I would DIE to see that)
Luke Wilson as Emmett (can he sing? Because that would be fabulous)
And of course, Kevin Federline as Warner and Britney Spears as Brooke Wyndham :eyeroll:

aw come on, that would bring whole new levels of fun to the 'engagement' scene! Of course only if, my favorite suggestion from the other thread, KFed raps "Serious."
Yes, Rachel Dratch played Paulette in one of the readings. I was hoping she would make it to Broadway.
And yet another opportunity for the Laura Bell Bundy haters to come out and play. This site is rife with such opportunities. Why not just hold a funeral and pee on her grave?
The woman was the chosen star of the show. Period. Enough with the "she's so much better than LBB." I would bet my entire career that the producers and creative team of "legally Blonde" are as thrilled today with Laura Bell Bundy as the day they chose her and not Annaleigh Ashford, or Kristen Bell or Becky Gulsvig, or Kerry Butler or anyone else you can name.
Give it a break for God's sake, willya?
(However that being said, I would pay, exactly once, to see Paris Hilton. Even I'm not immume from watching a car wreck).
I'm also with theaterkid1015: Bea Arthur all the way!
jennifer coolidge as paulette.
I love Jennifer Coolidge. Jennifer Coolidge should play Elle. No, Jennifer Coolidge should play every role and perform it as a one woman show.
I have no issue with LBB. I do, however, have an issue with the way the character was written for the show. Not that the writing in the film was a masterpiece or anything, but film-Elle was a lot less obnoxious and a lot more likeable than her friends. Its seems like they knew they couldn't recreate the Elle charm that Reese brought to the film so they amplified the valleygirl-ness of Elle for the sake of humor. But thats just my opinion.

Kristen Bell as Elle, as many of you said. She'd be perfect.
Victor Garber reprising his role as Callahan.
Nick Lachey as Warner - I dislike him, but he'd be well cast in the role. Plus his height wouldn't be an issue because Kristen Bell is short too.
Orfeh and Kate Shindle should just stay. They're both great, even though Kate has a thankless role.
Orfeh and Kate make the show, as do Nikki and Natalie. That makes four women with amazing belt voices. Wow, what a cast.

I didn't know "amazing belt voices" made for a great cast. If that were true, Brooklyn the musical was THE BEST SHOW EVER!
