A very reliable source has told me that Michele Ragusta is going to be taking over the role of Elizabeth after Megan Mullally leaves Young Frankenstein. The deal is made and contract signed! Congrats Michele!!! Well Done and Well Deserved!!!
and who the heck is she. I can't find anything on her(no Broadway, movie or TV credits.)
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I say close it when she leaves if you can't find some one bigger to make more mmoney. I mean they are in the ****ter as it is Mel needs to swallow his pride and accept it isn't the producers it's a flop live with it move on and try to create better. But no more movie to musicals he is so creative write an original show.
Great to learn that Carmine's little sister got a gig on Broadway. She's done tons of community theater in Milwaukee and lots of industry shows for the Shotz Brewery.
Sorry...from the little I have heard......kinda disappointed with this.....boo

Don't really post anymore, but figured I neeeded to chime in here:
Michele Ragusa is not particularly well known, but is IMMENSELY talented. Her broadway credits include Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime, replacing Nancy Anderson for the last two weeks of A Class Act, as well as several Encores! productions. She is probably best known for playing Amalia in She Loves Me at Paper Mill Playhouse 3 years ago, winning over the top raves.
I hadn't heard she was replacing Megan, but she is brilliant nonetheless. Congratulations!
Very disappointing, but I guess they can't really afford any other options. The replacement possibilities were so exciting... oh well.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Michele is a wonderfully talented actress, so I'm sure she'll be excellent. Out of all the Evelyn Nesbitt's I saw in Ragtime, she's the only one I truly remember.
