What are Michael Longoria's (jersey boys), Max Crumm's (grease), Cheyenne Jackson's (xanadu), and jonathan groff's (hair) future plans/endeavors, now that they left the shows they were in? Any upcoming projects they've joined? Just a thought.

Longoria could be one of the replacement gay boy ensemble members in MAMMA MIA.

Crumm will probably go to college.

Cheyenne can have any job he wants. Hopefully he'll do something incredible.

Groff will be returning to HAIR for the Broadway run.

Groff is doing a play (A Prayer for My Enemy) with Playwrights Horizon. Limited Run...mid Nov. to just before xmas. (I'm holding out hope it will extend a week!)

Cheyenne is RUMORED to Guys and Dolls. (Thanks for the catch on that razzmatazz!)

Crumm is desperately looking for work.

Longoria....I got nothing.

edited for "correct rumor" info.

The subject header sounds like a funny law firm.

Longoria's website says to check back soon. Hmm.

Crumm is apparently moving back to LA, trying to pursue film.

And dramamama, wasn't Cheyenne rumored for Guys & Dolls, not West Side Story?

wasn't Cheyenne rumored for Guys & Dolls, not West Side Story?

I'm pretty sure both rumors started here.

Can I start two more rumors? I heard that Cheyenne will play Tommy in "Brigadoon," which I'm sure is solid for the spring............. LOL

But wouldn't it be nice.

I do know for a fact that Cheyenne will get anything in a heartbeat cuz he's amazing, as well as for Groff who is really talented. I thought it was weird that Crumm would leave NY so fast, since he did express interest in Spring Awakening. I guess he wanted film all along? And as far as Longoria, I expected that he would do more than being an ensemble member, since he was recently a lead. But.... I guess that's showbusiness.

Would Jackson be playing Riff in WSS? Because Matt Cavenaugh was announced for Tony more than two months ago.

Y'all probably know this, but Groff is in the Ang Lee film Taking Woodstock.

I would love to see Cheyenne and Matt in WSS. That would be a cherry on top. :)

Unless I missed it there was never an official announcement about Cavenaugh. Variety reported that he was offered the role but the spokesperson for the production didn't deny/confirm the fact. I think it's more or less known that he is doing the show but there hasn't been an official announcement though.
Jackson is a solidified leading man on Broadway, I don't think he would take a role like Riff at this point in his career.

Why is Gavin Creel not included in this? He's floating around after the dropping of "Godspell." He's more talented than any of these four, in my opinion. Of course, I may just be stupid and he probably has another gig and I just didn't know.

I heard Cody Green (Step It Up and Dance -winner) would be playing Riff.

I can't imagine Max Crumm in Spring Awakening.

Yes, you're right, ray. It hasn't been definitively announced that Cavenaugh will be playing Tony, just that he was offered the role. So I suppose it might not happen.

They should get younger people playing the roles in WSS in my opinion. Younger, just-as-talented people, of course. They're supposed to be high school age, aren't they? As much as I enjoy Matt Cavenaugh and Cheyenne Jackson, they're both too old for the roles. For me, anyway.

That's been discussed to death HeyMrMusic and unfortunately they seem to be not going in that direction anymore.

My perfect cast would be:

Maria: Krysta Rodriguez
Anita: Natalie Cortez
Tony: Aaron Tveit
Riff: Curtis Holbrook
Bernardo: Ryan Duncan or Michael Balderamma

In Cheyenne's latest blog (www.cheyennejackson.com),he mentions a guest role on "Lipstick Jungle" with a big (unnamed) Broadway diva. However, he does not mention the air date, so stay tuned.

For a second there, I thought this was going to be one of those memes where you choose who to "do," "marry" and "push off a cliff."

I thought it was a "one of these things is not like the other"
cause Cheyenne, Longoria and Groff are all, ya know, and Max is unsure.

The last I rumor I heard of Max was that he had an audition for the upcoming Footloose remake with Zac Efron. I believe it was for Chuck, but I see him more as a Willard personally.

I actually could see Max doing quite well in WSS...in any of the Jet roles.

C'mon folks, let's leave the guy alone. He is a great kid who doesn't deserve the personal slams he suffers
