It was announced they are performing on The History channel float, not at the beginning with all the other shows. My friends at the parade are at 68th street and said that they passed "forever ago" so they should be on soon.

Are there anymore shows left!??!!! I didn't get to see any.

I really liked Idina's performance. Loved the float!

One question... Why did In The Heights apparently have to cut the word "damn" but South Pacific was allowed to use it? Or did ITH just decide to cut it?
Very cool knowing that at the Lance Horne concert on 9/9 we saw the public debut of the song the Clique Girls did. :)

LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
In the Heights did the title song. South Pacific did "Nothin' Like a Dame" Hair did "Aquarius" on the History Channel float. The Little Mermaid did "Under the Sea".
In addition, Kristin Chenoweth (on the Care Bears float) and Idina Menzel (on the M&M Broadway float, featuring M&Ms spoofing "A Chorus Line", "Spamalot", "Phantom of the Opera", and "Wicked") performed, and Meredith Viera mentioned Shrek the Musical when the balloon went by.
Because IN THE HEIGHTS is "goddamn" as in "Goddamn I gotta get on that"...taking the lord's name in vein and all that...doesn't fly on network TV, but damn is fine...plus South Pacific is a classic show...it's in the American culture...people would know if it was altered...In The Heights...not so much
And for the record... Patina Miller said on her facebook that this is the last time she'll get to perform Aquarius...which means she's definitely not doing the show on B'way Updated On: 11/27/08 at 11:40 AM
