This is a really random question, but I was wondering if anyone had any really nice pictures of the view an actor sees from the stage looking out at the audience. It can be an empty theater but I'd preferably love to have a picture of a Broadway theater.
Thanks!
While this isn't an entire view, here is the photo I snapped when I went backstage at the St. James. I'll try to get a better one next time.
View from the Stage
This is pretty cool: http://studio54seats.org/
The Shubert Organization's site also has this type of pictures for some of their theatres

Wow, elke, that first site you posted is amazing!
All theaters should do that. So cool!
The Shubert:
Was that picture taken when Spamalot resided there?^^^^^
double post.
I'm pretty sure that's the deck from Bernadette's Gypsy
I think it's SPAMALOT. Notice the confetti on the stage.
I would love to see the view at the gershwin. That would be quite amazing.
You can see it in this video: http://www.broadway.com/Behind-the-Scenes-Backstage-at-Wicked/broadway_video/507561

St.James at the last performance of Gypsy
I would die and go to heaven if I was standing on that stage with that full crowd.

Oh no! They were taking pictures!
I love that picture from Gypsy's last performance.
I would love to see Leigh Ann's video of it too, lol.
Is that confetti or spike marks?
^In the Gypsy picture? Those are the roses that people in the orchestra threw for Patti during curtain call. I was in the balcony looking down and it just looked so beautiful.
No...not from Gypsy....from the Shubert. Another poster thought the pix was taken from Spamalot since there was confetti on the floor....but I think what we are seeing is spike marks.
Sorry for the confusion.
I think it's confetti. If you look hard enough, you can see some pieces of it on a few orchestra level chairs. Plus weren't the colors of the SPAMALOT confetti yellow and white? So are the confetti on the picture...or the spike marks if that's what they are.

It's definitely SPAMALOT. You can see the planks of wood that jet out over the pit as well...
Those pictures of the Belasco are amazing!!!! What was playing there when you went onstage?
The Belasco is gorgeous!
Here is a pic of the Helen Hayes theatre:
