Hi I was just wondering if other people were planning on going to the cast signing and what time you were planning on showing up. I'm going but I didn't know if I should get there really early or just kind of early
thanks!
Without bread we'd just be hungry
but without theatre we'd be dead
I'm thinking of going, I won't get there until just after 5 because I have to work, but at least I'm across the street. By then hopefully I can just jump online get the CD signed and leave.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
The signing was great! I don't have any videos to post from YouTube, but the songs that were performed were "I've Been", "I'm Alive", and "Superboy and the Invisible Girl", all of which were fantastic. (Someone I went with who has basically never been exposed to songs from the show LOVED all of them, which made me so happy.) It was pretty much packed; I was in the second row. :)
light_thelights: Great to hear those are the songs they chose! I've Been is my favorite song. It's a shame Alice didn't really get to show off, though. Really bummed I couldn't be there. It's also nice to hear your friend enjoyed it! Another N2N addict is born, haha.
I'm sure Ripley didn't want to sing. I'm sure the show is taxing on her voice, so she's probably on vocal rest so she doesn't have to miss any shows between now and the Tonys.
I wonder what they'll perform on the Tonys? It's a tough show to sell, but my guess would be "You Don't Know/ I Am The One."
Shouldn't they use a song that shows off Jennifer as well, since she's nominated? I would think "Just Another Day" or "Light" would be pretty good.

I missed the performances (unfortunately), but I did get to Barnes & Noble around 4:45 and got my CD signed within 10 minutes! I was actually shocked that there was no line...
Everyone was so nice though and I'm really glad I was able to go.
The place was mobbed before then, but they were really good about moving people through the signing area. People were saying how this was one of the most crowded events of this sort they've been to at B&N.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
Liza was more crowded...and I seem to remember that 110 in the Shade was extremely crowded as well...but who knows.
I'm just saying that I got there 45 minutes after the event began and was in and out in 10 minutes...which I found very strange. I expected to wait a long time...
I heard some B%N staff talking about a West Side Story signing and how they expect the crowds to be insane for that one. (may have to take half a day off for it)
