It's not until March 2020. Plus she's alternating the role. So I'm guessing we'll know when it gets closer. Plus I doubt Whoopi tours around the UK for an extended period.

The View is always on hiatus during this time of the year.

They were nationally preempted today due to coverage of the public impeachment hearings. They are back live tomorrow.

yeah, Meghan has her faults, but so do all of them. Doubt Whoopi signs for 2 years, even if it's big money.

Just a personal opinion, Ive heard nothing but Whoopi knows this show keeps her relevant and quite frankly...gets her acting work which she wants. ABC is working with them all to keep them around as in letting them do other projects and I think it keeps them happy.
They usually sign year by year contracts (in case it goes south and they need to fire someone) but they want to guarantee this panel is around well after 2020.

Curious what happens when they get pre-empted? They're live, so does everyone(cast & crew) still show up knowing they may not air? What happens with the studio audience? Today's the third time in the past week they're been pre-empted due to news(impeachment hearings).

Instead of trying to continue her argument or letting it go, she sits there and sulks. And she's worse on Fridays when Ana Navarro is there.

As Robbiej once said of HAIR, "such tsuris over a shirt." So Meghan's pissed that the public can buy "Don't Mess With Nancy" t-shirts because this is "about the constitution." She's "TERRIFIED" of whatever it is she puts under the label "socialism." People like Meghan (hi, Rocks!) looooooooooooooove "the greatest country on earth" and its capitalism. Until all of a sudden they don't. And then they do again.

WOW, Whoopi had to really put Meghan in her place today. Meghan was such a brat and then basically remained silent for the rest of the show. I do wonder if she'll return next season as Whoopi's had to silence her a few times this season already. Let's see if McCain takes a sick day later in the week. FYI, this is their final week of shows for the year. They'll return on January 6.
