So during the most recent Meghan blowups, I actually have gone back and watched Sara's box and she seems so uncomfortable and I catch her glancing at someone or something off screen every time Meghan blows up on someone. If this summer is going to look like what today's show looked like, I won't be shocked if Sara snaps soon. Especially since I have noticed that Meghan does seem call out and disagree with Sara specifically sometimes.
Also today's show was something. I saw someone on Twitter say that the debate wasn't even entertaining today and I have to agree. That said, I have watched those clips from today multiple times.

Whoopi's snap at Meghan to end the first segment was needed.
Sunny has told Meghan countless times to "let me finish".
Joy and Meghan going at it is nothing new. Seemed like Joy was trying to stoke the flames today.
Sarah's only there because she needs the job.
They need to get back in the studio. Since the election ended, their ratings have been dropping.

They definitely need to be back in the studio. This zoom format is exhausting to watch with each one taking turns to speak, and I bet it's exhausting for Whoop to have to keep telling them when it's their turn.
In other news, former host Jedediah Bila just ended her stint as host of Fox & Friends Weekend. She was replaced by another View alum Rachel Campos Duffy.

The Daytime Emmy nominations were just announced, and The View was snubbed in all major categories. It's the first year in the show's history that it has not received a nomination for either show or hosts. Ouch.

I can tell you producers are finalizing plans to be back in the studio this fall.
As a fan, I desperately want them to return. Im baffled at shows that are still doing it.

Rachel Lindsay was a fantastic guest co-host today. I don't think anyone is leaving anytime soon, but the next time they need a new co-host, I think Rachel Lindsay would be fabulous. She is very intelligent and I really enjoyed her on the show today.

IMO, I see everyone jumping ship after the 2021-22 season. Whoopi moves on to doing [more] movies again. Joy retires. Meghan has stated that if Whoopi leaves, she's leaving. Sarah joins GMA in some capacity and Sunny remains on ABC's payroll somehow. Not sure if the show succeeds after 2022.

It's impossible to give her unabashed, unconditional admiration. She doesn't make it easy. But that's probably for the best. Still, no matter what problematic thing she says or does, I remember she was the only celebrity who marched on the White House with us in the fall of 1987, pushing her friend with AIDS in a wheelchair on the front line. The only celebrity. I will always have love for her but reserve the right to exclaim, oh no gurrrrrrl.

Just the ethics of marketing prescription drugs directly to consumers in the first place. Well, it's not like this culture has a great ethical track record at any rate.

I was watching ET Canada about this and they mentioned that Whoopie was actually the one who convinced Meghan to come on the show via Whoopie's friendship with her father. I didn't know that.
