It's also believed that Meghan didn't want to return after her father passed, but Whoopi was also instrumental in bringing Meghan back. It's really bizarre that Meghan is snapping at Whoopi now on a weekly basis. She needs a reality check that Whoopi is a main reason she has the job.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
FYI, expect Whoopi to miss a bunch of shows for the next few weeks as it's believed she's filming Star Trek Picard.

Interesting. Joy Behar makes inappropriate/crude joke about gay NFL player and crickets here on this board and no outrage. Joy tells everyone to forget the joke (lol) and there are no calls to cancel her. Why do I think if a FOX celebrity made the same joke there would be quite a few posts on this thread bashing him/her?

What equates to a Fox celebrity? Might also help if you posted what the joke was.
Found the joke. I didn't realize crude jokes were no longer allowed. She is a comedian and also has been an advocate to the Gay community for years. Should she have said it on morning tv? Probably not.How much longer will any comedian be able to tell a joke?
I didn't find it offensive at all. And Behar apologized.
I think what JGPR2 is saying is that if Meghan McCain or anyone on FOX News made this joke the internet would have blown up and called for them to be fired.

Correct me if I am wrong, she did not apologize. She told people to forget she told the "inappropriate" joke.

Exactly. I don't know the FOX morning show people by name except Will Cain because he used to be on ESPN talk shows so let's imagine Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson or Laura Ingraham told the same joke.

Since I know the names of the night time lineup, let's say Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson told the same joke. Seriously, you don't think this board would be ranting how they are a bunch of homophobes.
I am all for comedians telling jokes that may offend people or be considered crude, just make sure you apply the same standard when somebody who you do not agree with tells that kind of a joke.
So because she has supported the gay community, she can tell offensive jokes about them on national TV, gotcha -lol

So you're mad because others aren't mad but you think they should be mad? Seems like a worthwhile hobby for you!
Joy isn’t a bully or a homophobe and had always stuck up for the gay community, unlike the psychos from Fox that you have mentioned. They are on totally opposite sides of the spectrum so yes, their words are going to be taken in very different ways.

Exactly, the fact that somebody would even try to compare someone on Fox news with Behar is a a joke in itself. Joan Rivers made hundreds of offensive gay jokes, but was also one of the biggest gay advocates. They are comedians, they make fun of everybody. As a gay man, I found it hilarious.

Intention is important in a joke, and Joy's was not meant to harm anyone.
I like Ana but I don't see her wanting to leave Miami to do a 5-day show in NY. So who will replace Meghan? I really liked Bari Weiss (formerly from The NY Times) when she guest-hosted.
Meghan isn't leaving immediately, she'll finish out the season. I'm sure the constant fights and virtually setting played a big part but since she's living in DC now it feels like that was the biggest factor. I do wonder who'll replace here? Ana is good to travel up for maybe two shows a week, but they basically have two months to find a replacement. Might just be a series of guest hosts to start off the new season that should be back in the studio.
