Wow. I don't have a current pic of him.. but he is still a looker.
Here is one. I wouldn't throw him out of bed for eating crackers.
He was so f**king hot. I wonder what he looks like now.
Dr. Daddy you're needed in the examination room...
He's still fine. I'd still hit it. Happy Birthday Daddy!
Line forms behind me.
I always thought he was younger than me, but he is five months older!
I guess the Z stands for ZOWEE!
I know this is sad, but the first time I saw him was in Au Pair and boy was he hott.
Still is!
I remember the opening credits of "Trapper John, M.D.", when the shower door swung open and me thinking: Cameraman, PAN DOWN! (Though I watched it for Parnel Roberts just as much.)
And when the Hell is "For Ladies Only" going to be available on DVD?!?!?
I have loved him ever since the Centennial miniseries. And he was the only good thing about that horrific Roundabout Follies.
Did anyone ever see him as Billy Flynn in Chicago? I bet he was perfect.
Yes. He is wonderful in that role.
I saw him twice on the Chicago tour. He was perfection. The man oozes class and charisma and is a damn fine singer. He's exceptionally talented and I think his true power as an actor was underrated based on his stunning good looks.
"It's My Party" is so moving mainly due to his heartbreaking emotional vulnerability in that film. It's one of my favorite films.

What a torso!!! I probably should keep any further thoughts to myself as they would most definitely be "X" in nature!!!
I read a great interview that Marvin Jones (the now deceased former owner of hunkvideoonline/Campire videos) did with Gregory many years ago where he talked about how he experienced a lot of homophobic behavior after he became a conscientious objector during Vietnam. He seems like a really bright, interesting guy.
If he brings a bristling intensity to the role of Gonzo Gates, the disillusioned Vietnam veteran turned maverick intern on CBS' Trapper John, M.D., Gregory Harrison is entitled. Three days after enlisting in the Army in 1969, Harrison recalls "suddenly getting this jolt I didn't want to kill anyone." When he applied for conscientious objector status, he claims the Army placed him first in solitary, then in a psycho ward. Distraught and frightened—Harrison insists he occasionally awoke to find a duty officer holding a knife to his throat—he attempted suicide with an overdose of barbiturates. "I was only trying to make someone listen," continues Harrison, who found catharsis in the near tragedy. "In the ward I was surrounded by people who couldn't control their lives," he says. "I realized I was a fool to think I was hopeless. When I finally got out of the Army, I never again worried that I might fail at anything I set out to do."

I had tickets to see Gregory Harrison in Paper Moon on Broadway. I'm still bitter about that one.
*sigh*
I was at an opening night in Los Angeles years ago and found him standing alone next to me during intermission.
I figured "what the hell" and I struck up a conversation. I told him I was an admirer of Larry Grossman's work and asked Harrison what it was like working with him.
Harrison lite up! He was very open to talking about his PAPER MOON experience to a complete stranger - and a "nobody" to boot! I found him intelligent, enthusiastic, and personable.
Have you ever meet someone who is say... unattractive, and then you start talking with him or her and you are so impressed with the sincerity of their personality that you forget what they look like?
Well something similar happened to me with Harrison. He was so open, well-adjusted and genuinely interesting that I forgot that I was face to face with the gorgeous man I had lusted after during my adolescence.
I don't know what he is up to these days, but I wish him well.

I always liked him... such a class act.
He is a class act. Add me to the list of admirers of his body of work (and his body ). TRAPPER JOHN MD was a show filled with top notch talent: Pernell Roberts, Harrison, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Madge Sinclair.
He was good in FOLLIES.
Not to thread-jack, but all the years I watched it (and I watched it all the years he was on it), I never knew that Brian Stokes Mitchell (or Brian Mitchell as he was back then) was black!
And don't forget Mary McCarty was on it too.
He is black?
I loooooooooooooooves me some Brian Stokes Mitchell. YUM.
How could you have not known Brian was black?
EDIT: In truth, he is multiracial. IMDb.com lists his ethnic heritage as German, Scottish, African, and Native American.
Well, the show was set in California.
I just thought that he was really, really tan.
I remember have such a huge crush on him when i was a kid.
I'd have done him then, and I'd do him now.
