Um, you do realize that everything done at the inauguration is pre recorded right? Last time around there was a big much ado about nothing because Yo-Yo Ma was playing to his pre recorded self rather than playing live as to not damage his instrument in the cold and to make sure that things went 100 per cent smoothly.

All Beyonce did tonight is take that ridiculous nontroversy and the people who kept it going and kick them in the balls.

And her platform/stage silhouette reminded me just how incredible she would be in a movie musical of AIDA.

If AIDA happened in 2004 as rumored with her, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera, I would have been super happy! If it still happens, it needs to shoot SOON. They're all 30-31, so they only have a few years until it seems off age-wise.
But yes, tonight was spectacular. I would have loved a more dramatic ending, but her performance was breathtaking, the visuals and dancing were phenomenal, and I loved her bring Kelly and Michelle onstage. I'm also surprised Jay-Z didn't join her for Crazy In Love.

Saved her career? Oh please. Girls career is on fire. VERY smart on her part to perform quite a few songs from her last album that wasn't a commercial success to boost sales. Very well produced. Glad to see the girls back together.

I thought Madonna was better. Bizonce should have stuck to her hits-its a halftime show, not a record launch. I did not like her outfit and the doily covering her flanks.

Sorry but that was not better than Madonnas at all, though she did well and good on her for singing live and sounding great. Change up those dance routines though woman and whoever directed this should be slapped for the terrible transitions from one song to another. Awesome to see Destinys Child again though someone didn't seem to want us to hear them.
