How's your recording coming Spidey??
Haven't done it yet. I have to do it tonight. Everyone at my work is sick so I am going to do it before I get it whatever is going around. I tried it a couple of days ago and it sounds weird due to the lack of back up singers and some of the intrumental doesn't sound like the actual song, but I am going to try to make it work.
Kitz: You must go with Lupin or Sirius- so you went with Harry and Ron?
What song are you doing Spider?
Has anyone gone "old school" movie musical? (probably not.
)
I can't help it...I love Ron's face in this picture! And Daniel Radcliff is enough of a stud that he makes me feel downright pervy.
Ok, we have 5 clips now. 2 of Roxie, 2 of Journey, 1 of Colors. I'll listen tonight and determine if I need to skip lunch again tomorrow. In either case, I have more of a selection than I did last week
Kitzy in case you have forgotten, Danny boy is Jailbait!!!!
sounds like you are ready for this weeks competition..
Not in England.
Maybe it's more of a liking Harry than liking Daniel thing. All I know is that it makes me feel like a dirty bird.
Same thing for loving Alan Rickman. Snape the character is so slimy but Rickman is just *sigh*
Penguin--I am doing "Footloose."
Well, scrath "Footloose." That karaoke is so bad that I can't even keep my pitch right. So, off I go to find another song. Thinking about "Power of Love" from Huey Lewis and the News which was nominated from the Back to the Future soundtrack. But, we shall see.
ooo power of love would be a great choice!
Anything that reminds me of Back to the Future is a fun thing.

Ahhhh. I agree, kitz! Alan Rickman was so....ungh.....in Love Actually.
He was my favorite. Well, besides the little kid. Oh, and Hugh Grant.
Oh, hell, I just love that whole movie.
I love him in Sense and Sensibility. I might even watch that tonight. I've been in the mood for it.

Any ideas anyone? I was thinking the following, but cannot find the karaoke--Respect by Aretha Franklin (yeaaaaaaaaaah big black women!) or Joy to the World by Three Dog Night.
Please do Joy to the World! I LOVE that song!
Do Oscar nominated soundtracks count in the genre?

That sucks. Poor Ebby :/
Just got home - [best Ladies' Man impression] How's everyone doin' tonight?
Luckily, the first part of my morning was totally boring, so I was able to blow through 300 pages of HP5 while on the clock! I LOVE those days! Now only 400 pages to go, then 4 (soon to be 5) chapters of HP6 to catch up on!
I really have nothing of value to add to the HP or Idol portions of this thread - I'm on autopilot right now - except that while I dig Snape and think Alan Rickman, as a general rule, kicks ass - I totally do NOT find him sexy. Now, Robert Pattinson, Daniel and Christian Coulson...THEY make me think naughty things. Oh, and if we're into the Daddy Complex, I'm partial to Jason Isaacs/Lucius Malfoy.
I've also got an overnight shoot tomorrow going into Thursday morning, sooo...here's to hoping I wake up in time for the show, but just in case I don't - please don't forget to send your clips to Shib, Stephen and myself, so we all have copies!
(Shib, did you get jrb's .avi file? Can you convert it to .mp3?)
