I stopped watching it after the season with Alfre Woodard. Unfortunately I'm too far behind to get caught up again.
I don't agree. Weren't Lynette's twins like 7 or 8 last season?
I thought the same thing about Lynette's twins. They look like they're 20.
But besides that this is the best season premiere yet, IMO.
It's hilarious...and all of the women are at the top of their games. I hope they all start to get Emmy recognition this year (ditto to the show)...Longoria-Parker is particularly in rare form.
spoiler......
So did mike die? So far I like it, but I dont know if Im going to be a fan of the 5 year gap in the long run
Nevermind....Mike just walked in the door.

That would be a no...lol
Haha yeah. I think Katherine has been a little underused.
Wow, the writing is really rich this year. It's actually touching in a weird way.
This is a truly great episode.
I'm liking Edie's husband. Could be an interesting storyline.
Ditto...and off-topic but I think I'm giving up on BROTHERS AND SISTERS this season...how many secrets does this family have?!
How many children did William have that the family didn't know about?! And why is every episode the same formula...start off with tension, tension explodes, everyone fights, everyone resolves the issues in the end...rinse and repeat every week.
We'll see...
But that DH episode was fantastic.
I'm not liking the jump. I probably won't watch anymore. And I have the hardest time separating Gale from Brian Kinney. I know he's an actor and not gay in real life, but he'll always be Brian to me and even when he was in bed with Susan telling her how great she was... I just didn't buy it. I guess that makes me a bad person. Oh, well.

So when did Matt Damon have twin sons?
I really hope that Edie's husband isn't just the husband/father of the mother/kid Susan and Mike killed. WAY too predictable if that's it...
For some reason, I have a gut feeling that his storyline somehow involves Mrs. McCluskey -- "Edie's best friend from down the street."
That would make sense given their introduction.
What happened to Lynette's other kids?
Not a bad episode. The end of the opening, where the apples fall out of the tree into their hands, looked different. Did Edie used to be in that? She's not now, for whatever that may mean.
I'm generally a big fan of Brothers & Sisters, but last night's episode has me rethinking this show. While I like the moments of real truth and insight this series offers, I am beginning to feel that the constant drama the writers need to inflict on this family in order to get to those moments is wearing on me.
I thought it was another great episode. They're really redeeming themselves from that season two and part-of-season three slump.
BROTHERS & SISTERS is awful. You can tell Jon Robin Baitz left the writing staff. This show used to put a spin on conventional family archetypes; now it's reverting back to them. Get Sally Field out of that kitchen. Please.
Edie isn't a regular anymore, I think that's why she isn't in the promo. Can they throw Katherine Mayfair a storyline? I don't like seeing her for less than a minute. And why are Lynette's boys wearing V-necks? This isn't Shakey's.
I forgot someone left the writing staff. I was really upset during the 1st half of tonight's episode. It was just a set-up of what you knew was to come. The Walkers messing up yet another event. But I love the little speech Rob Lowe gave at the table.
I give up on it. The women are all horrible, horrible mothers.
Not one redeeming quality in any of them this season so far.
I wanted Lynette to get run over by the car for letting her little girl take the blame for her "accident" with the bass. And Bree giving her grandson the hot dogs when not only did she KNOW the kid was vegetarian, but that it would probably make him sick.
Yea, I think I am officially over this show.
What happened to the gay next door neighbors?
They appeared for like a SECOND on the first or second episode.
