I am drinking sparkling cider.
I'm drinking vanilla hazelnut tea, and it's amazingly good.

Donna Lynne Champlin's rendition of "The Parting Glass" (which can be found on the forbidden site) is making me cry and smile at the same time. It's the same tune my grandmother would sing to me in her husky, matriarchal tenor as I'd grasp the string of pearls danlging from her neck.
I'm sad to know that today is my last day of winter vacation
^ I agree
Iam soooo friggin Bored, I wish essays would write them selves

I'm back home (in PA) for those who care.
I didn't like the cruise line (Holland America) as much as others I've been on. This is like the "old people" cruise line. And some of them were b*tchy like unbelievable!
Actually, sometimes old people fighting is kind of amusing.
Yea...
Some places we went:
Guatamala- what a sad, sad place. There are kids begging on the street and yet, they were happy and smiling.
We went cave tubing in Belize- a 1 time experience. Was fun and interesting but...never again.
We went swimming with the dolphins in Jamaica. I wanted to do Dunn's River Falls again but I almost broke a bone the last 2 times I did it.
I went canoeing in Grand Caymen. Jeez- I didnt't know how hard that was. We canoed 1 mile, went snokling, then canoed 1 mile back.
Costa Maya was quite nice. We didn't do any tours but the walk in town was really nice. I got a painted picture from a guy that was painting it with his fingers/fingernails.
It sounds weird but it was really neat.
The entertainment was so-so. If you want to hear someone with a TON of energy and a great voice, get a goerge solomon CD. https://www.georgeonstage.com
The singers and dancers weren't all that good.- Well, at least compared to other ships/cruise lines I've been on, they were amateur.
We went to the art auctions on the ship and we won a 500$ picture
Last but not least, I don't even want to get on the scale.

I think you went on the same cruise line as my mom's friend. She had an absolutely terrible experience cave tubing in Belize.
I just got into my first car accident. It was minor and everyone was fine, but I can't stop shaking.
I'm glad you're okay, at least. I hope you feel better.

Swimming with the Dolphins is an amazing experience. I did it in the Bahamas at Atlantis and I loved it!
I personally prefer Princess Cruises and Silverstar Cruises.
Sweetdisaster, I'm very sorry and hope you feel better.

Yikes, I'm sorry Sweetdisaster - car accidents are definitely scary. I'm glad you're alright. Was there any damage?
This old guy kept staring at me in Starbucks as I tried to finish my piece for journalism. As I finally got up to leave, he told me that I reminded him of Alaska. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Becoz, a lot of cruises *cruise lines* go to Belize so it wasn't necessarily the same cruise line- just the same tour.
And, it wasn't bad at all. It was just...odd. I mean, you hike a mile holding an inner tube to get to the cave, then go into the water and into the dark, dark cave. We had those cavemen lights for your forhead but honestly that didn't really help. It just looked like everyone was holding a small candle.
And then there were spots where the rocks were higher up so the tour guide made a phrase "butt up." When the water was shallow and the rocks were right beneath, he would yell "butt up" and if you didn't put your "butt up"- it would hurt... a lot. At the very end, I went to get out of the tube and it was a bit late for my "butt up" and I got a gigantic black and blue mark.
The funny thing was, I went with my parents but the whole time we were in the cave, I didn't know where they were. Every once in a while, we yelled for each other to make sure we were still there and doing ok.
So, in the end...I'm glad I did it. I don't think I'll do it again.

POOP
Thanks guys!
No, Ariella, thankfully no damage- only some chipped paint. The funny part about the whole situation was that I was practically in my pajamas and had just run five minutes down the road to grab a Wendy's baked potato for dinner. So there I was standing on the side of the road looking like I'd just rolled out of bed. I guess that teaches me not to eat fast food...

I just got back from Dreamgirls, I really enjoyed it. The guy beside us did not, he kept complaining each time they started singing to each other and ended up falling asleep at one point.
