Just realized that today is Pi day - March 14, 3.14
Are you a math person or not? I would rather do a math problem any day than write a paper. Algebra is one of my favorite subjects.
Pi- A mathematical symbol which has astounded and amazed people for centuries. Pi is not a pastry or baked good, it is used in math, commonly used to find the circumference of a circle, using the simple mathematic code, Pr².

We are celebrating Pi Day here. too! All sorts of cool math projects on display and lots and lots of pies. I'm ignoring the projects and heading for the pies.

This is really cool. I was just wondering why we never had this in our schools... then I realized that our dates are 'backwards' so we never have 3.14.

Pi Day is infinitely more exciting than Mole Day (Oct. 23). Mostly because I will never get up at 6:02 a.m.
yay pi day!!
too bad i despise math.
and god, mole day.
if there's anything i hate more than algebra 2, it's moles.
but we had some oreo and apple pie today in class, which was damn good. and then i had some pineapple pie for lunch with my friend:)
happy pi day, all!

I gladly celebrate Pi Day, but Mole Day can burn in hell forever and ever.
Happy Pi day everyone!
I hate math. I'm good at it, but I hate it.

It also my Dad's 88th birthday, I get a piece of pie to celebrate.
If a mole of potassium iodide was burning in hell right now at the rate of one kilogram an hour, how long would it take to deplete the entire batch? And if the remains fell into a circle 5 decameters in diameter, what would its area be?

OK, I didn't think it was possible, but I'm here to tell you that there IS such a thing as too much pie.
Searching for the Alka-seltzer......
Oh moony... one slice is too much pie for me. (not a pie fan...)

We celebrated this in school today. Well did the activity today and eating pie tomorrow!! This is our mascot for pi day:
Ikm - I like your avatar. Is it a painting? Cute pi mascot. If I wasn't on a diet I would bake my own pie to celebrate. These pictures of pies are making me drool.

bwayaddict - Thanks! Nope, it's a picture I took from my hotel room (Marriott Marquis). I just played around with photoshop to get it like that. I can send you the real picture if you would like.

Pi day! Will wonders never cease...I must bring this sensational holiday back to my people, and we shall the celebrate the glory of...
Now wait just a minute. Pi is a number. A number! An infinite, random number, sure, but it's a number. Are you sure it needs its own commemorative date?
To celebrate Pi day, I will spin on my tip toes while singing all the digits of pi to the song "Mr. Goldstone" from Gypsy. Ready set...
My math teacher hates my class (probably becasue we're first period, and never fully awake.), so he didn't mention a pi day to us. He did, however, mention it to sixth period. I just popped in there on my way to chorus and grabbed some blueberry pie. Which I hate, unfortunately.
I didn't have math today, but better yet it was Mu Alpha Theta Inductions...so I got to erm eat pie instead of run laps around the track after gym for soccer. So it's all good.
There's a Pi song! three point one four one five niiiinnnne!
Not to mention that it's my birthday, and tomorrow is the Ides of March!
