I don't get this thread. Are people listing the films they think are actually flawless, or are they listing every movie they ever liked? or ever saw?
In "List" threads like this (particularly when the lists are so long), do folks read every post, or just scroll to the bottom to "reply" and add their list?
I was going to ask that exact same question, John. I could rattle of about 200 films that I consider masterpieces, but without any reasons to debate/discuss it's all rather boring.
Especially since the film lovers in our little community by and large have similar choices.
I almost listed about 50 and was going to toss B.A.P.S. in there just to see if anyone caught it.
When the first few people posted their FEW flawless films, I was interested to read them, but when they have to list hundreds I lose interest and no longer read any of them. Way to ruin a thread, folks.
The question was about movies we considered masterpieces, not movies we consider perfect or flawless. For those of us who have seen tens of thousands of films in our lifetimes, it's not at all strange that the very small percentage of them we consider to be masterpieces would still add up to a sizable list.
The thread is for "near perfect" films. I'm happy that you saw so many films that are near flawless but I don't care enough to read your list.
The WICKED movie will be on these lists. I know it will be so good.
almost flawless, Jordan, almost flawless. In fact, AMAZING.
Oh no you did NOT just use the "A" word, Jane.

I think a big swath of people just scroll to the bottom and post in all threads, not just list ones.
"Oh no you did NOT just use the "A" word, Jane"
haha, why yes, yes I did, Taz. And I chose that obnoxious word on purpose!
This is a SH*Tshow work day, so my eyes may not be working and someone may have mentioned it (but I didn't see it). I've limited myself to one film, instead of a list of films...and that film is:
All That Jazz.
Honorable mentions: TEETH, THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (1&2), PINK FLAMINGOS
:)
SHOWGIRLS. If you don't agree, you can just shut the fvck up.

Yuppers! (I got a little too over-zealous in trying to illustrate...)
I'm with henrik on this. I read his list and agree with all (or nearly all) of his choices.
The popcorn is ready any time you want a "movie night!"
And if you don't like long lists, don't read them.
