Addy, the judge said at the sentencing that he would revisit the case in a week.

Since her name has now been removed from the certificate the only thing she has to do is simply allow her clerks to issue the licenses.

He ordered it as such and she was released.

However, she has now said she plans on "pressing on". She thinks if it happens in her county then she is somehow responsible and as such will seek to nullify all licenses that were issued while she was incarcerated as well as continue to deny new ones.

Her clerks have been ordered to let the court know on the work situation every 2 weeks.

He's saying that her name has been removed but her "authority"--"Rowan County Clerk"--is still on them.

The legislators in Kentucky are unlikely to impeach her, and the voters (remember: she's a Kentucky democrat!) are likely to reelect her.

But she's not coming in to work today.

She's got to be costing them a lot of money, and if she fires the guy who's claiming he'll continue issuing marriage licenses despite her, there'll be a lawsuit and the fun will have only just begun...
