Addy, the judge said at the sentencing that he would revisit the case in a week.

 

Since her name has now been removed from the certificate the only thing she has to do is simply allow her clerks to issue the licenses.

 

He ordered it as such and she was released.

 

However, she has now said she plans on "pressing on". She thinks if it happens in her county then she is somehow responsible and as such will seek to nullify all licenses that were issued while she was incarcerated as well as continue to deny new ones.

 

Her clerks have been ordered to let the court know on the work situation every 2 weeks.

Her "backers" are just horrible people.

 

They want all the clerks who issued licenses ON THE JUDGE'S DIRECT AND EXPLICIT ORDERS while this vile woman was in jail to be fired.

 

Why are extreme religious nuts so selfish and hateful? Did they not get enough love in their (apparently) miserable childhoods?

And then this is confusing to me:

Staver, Davis' lawyer, said his client still wants an accommodation to remove her name and her authority from the marriage certificates.

 

My understanding is that her name has been removed. It simply says "Rowan County Clerk, Rowan County" now.

At some point they need to just get rid of her.

 

She'll end up back in jail soon. My wish is that she stays there until January at which time she can be impeached.

 

And if they don't want to impeach her,  let her rot in jail for the remaining 3 and a 1/2 years of her term.

The legislators in Kentucky are unlikely to impeach her, and the voters (remember: she's a Kentucky democrat!) are likely to reelect her.

 

But she's not coming in to work today.

I'm not so sure. They may not want to impeach her, but how can you continue to pay someone 80k and have them not being able to do their job because they're in jail.

 

Also, I've read that a majority of people in Rowan County disagree with her actions.

 

And the governor is no friend of her or her lunacy.
