I wanted the top three to be Ginger, Pearl and Violet. I audibly gasped when RuPaul sent Kennedy home. I didn't think that she would be sent packing. Go Ginger!!!
This was the worst decision RuPauls has made yet. Kennedy deserved to go to the final 3 over Violet.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I would have put Kennedy in the Top 3 over Pearl. I know she's improved since the start of the season, but she's still the worst performer of the Top 4 and I thought her runway look tonight was hideous.
Ginger so clearly deserves to win it's not even funny. Sure, Violet is pretty and can put together a hell of a great look, but Ginger is a consummate pro and has shown the most overall talent.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Pearl has done jack **** to earn her place in the competition. Who knew that doing absolutely horrible for the first third of the season, mediocore the rest, and pulling out the same lip sync three times to secure a Top 3 placement. And she's said on the show that she's not "Over the competition", but everything post show she's said about wanting to separate herself from it tells me that she was incredibly over it. Don't reward that.
I'm Team Ginger, but I would rather Violet over Pearl because she's boring. The only interesting thing she's done all season is Big Ang.
And Ru has a new music video out. And it's a music video this time!
I won't bother rehashing an entire season, so I will just stick to the four Queens in this episode.
Of the bunch, Kennedy should be in the top three and a Pearl should have been sent packing. Simple.
Pearl is lethargic and frightfully boring. Beautiful man, terribly dull queen. She can assemble a cute look for a night out in Brooklyn, but nothing else has been successful. That nightie was her best drag? Really??
Kennedy, love her or hate her, was a professional in the challenge and her Best Drag was actually pretty damn good, even if the rainbow was a bit basic. Nevertheless, she does not deserve the crown.
Violet must be lost on me. She can out together a look, but she has no other skill and absolutely no warmth. She is great for photo shoots (or video, apparently), but she lacks everything that makes you a drag superstar.
Ginger for the win. Yes, she is second or third tier Bianca but of the bunch in the final, she is the most well rounded (no pun), the quickest and the most likable.
I don't think Ginger is very likeable at all- particularly in this last episode, which might as well have been called the Kennedy and Ginger Bitterness Brigade Power Hour. That "reason I should win" speech was terribly tacky, but overshadowed by the fact that Kennedy is a living malapropism (she needs to look up what condone means). And her boast about being the best actor and singer ever on the show? Come on, gurl. Whenever she hits a roadblock, which is often, she lashes out and quite bitterly.
Kennedy has been consistently unimpressive to me; for all the slights against Violet relying on beauty, Kennedy does the same with pagaentry.
Katya should have been on that stage and her absence was glaringly obvious and heavily felt.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
Haven't really been a fan of the show this season. But as of today I am going with Violet for the win. Never thought that till now. Same breath wouldn't be disappointed if Ginger won.
"I hope your Fanny is bigger than my Peter."
Mary Martin to Ezio Pinza opening night of Fanny.
Untucked was great, but all it did was make me think how Violet and Pearl are both undeserving of the crown and have no grasp of their world they are in or the level they are expected to be at.
How the f**K does Pearl keep inching by? She's terrible. Sorry. She's just boring. Kennedy at least TRIES. She was great in the music video. Ginger for the win all the way. I'd totally go see Ginger at a club, but I could careless about Pearl. Violet's fine. I don't hate her. I think she's actually kind of interesting. But out of the 4, I'm so surprised Kennedy was sent home. What was the reasoning? No one even said.
I'm very happy about Kennedy being eliminated. Basically Ru is setting it up so that a big girl can win by surrounding her with lesser queens. I hate this because Ginger is nowhere near the best big girl that's been on the show. She just happened to have been on a very lackluster season.
Did anyone else think that Pearl's sob story seemed very specific but no one was actually coming out with it? Like Ru mentioning something about her when she was 7 y/o and then they did that weird what would you say to child you segment on the runway. It seemed very awkward to me because everyone was dancing around the topic.
"Pardon my prior Mcfee slip. I know how to spell her name. I just don't know how to type it." -Talulah
Love that. It's just funny cause I was watching previous season the other night and they all just had so many personalities. This season is so lackluster. I think Ginger is great. And I want her to win. Pearl, for whatever reason, just doesn't seem worthy. He hasn't shown anything. Even in the clips when they were trying to show that she was "acting" she was just terrible. Like, stop editing it to make me feel for her, cause we don't care. At least Violet is confident in herself. Which I dig. I'm not sure WHAT she can do, but I think she's at least an interesting, professional performer. Kennedy was messy, but it was an exciting mess.
Apparently what Ginger (& Kennedy) said about not thinking Pearl & Violet were mature enough to have the title and knowing it's not just a crown & $100K, but also responsibilities came to pass last night. Following the filming of the Reunion they were scheduled to do a VIP meet and greet. Violet & Pearl left before it even happened and only Ginger of the Top 3 stayed.
Also, according to spoilers from the reunion (I won't say what) the format is a bit different and it sounds like a lot of fun.
Pearl is the only one that I absolutely do not want to win. To me she has not earned to be in the position she is.
Well, or also shows what idiots they are since we - and THEY - will not find out who wins until the show airs. I can't imagine they plays well in the eyes of Mama Ru.
Finally a decent episode. But that was only because we got Alaska, Sharon, Latriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice, Jujubee, Raven, Raja, Bianca, Anna Wintour, Adore, Jinkx, etc to entertain us.
