Interesting that you say that, Jailyard. I was reading the textbook for one of my psychology classes yesterday, and it said that a good number of people who consider themselves heterosexual, particularly men, have had at least one homosexual experience in their lives. That struck me as interesting, because for some reason I would picture heterosexual women having been more likely to have had a sexual encounter with someone of the same sex than men. Maybe it's just the pop-culture BS that we get fed that contributes to that impression, though.
Musicians in the New York City subways are annoying to begin with, but steel drums and anything utilizing a loudspeaker should be banned.
- Someone should start a nonprofit business aimed at helping people who spend years on the same corner (begging for change or selling "Streetwise") to get jobs and homes.
There should be child-free airlines.

I am of the opinion that I am one of the best type of moderators for a board like this--fair; tolerant; patient; charming; funny; liberal; intelligent; well-read; understanding; willing to help those in true need; protective of those who need protection until they prove otherwise; intuitive; frank when it is warranted; cynical enough to keep the phonies at bay, and the spammers and predators out; and hard-hearted enough to delete something or ban someone, when appropriate, and still sleep at night.
A damned unpopular opinion I have no doubt.
Jose' moderators are not allowed to have opinions. You know that. Now be a good boy and run along...here's a popsicle.

That was funny, sum. Made me laugh.
Ooops...I just remembered.
Moderators are not allowed to laugh, either.

Who does your signature refer to Jose'? Was it Robert Herrick?
I used to hate JosĂȘ, but then I realised that I actually really like him, and improve of nearly everything he does...
I find it very rare to actually find an American I like (excluding forums). I'm usually so offended two minutes into the conversation (calling me an "ass-y" rather than an "oz-y" is a good way to start that) that I can't be bothered getting to know them any more, and I just walk away...
I also hate beer...vodka, rum, wine...so much better. and I hate ketchup too. And I hate myspace. And I hate that movies cost 9 dollars. They used to cost like 3.50. Although that last one isn't really unpopular.
paradox, anyone that speaks English as a native tongue and confuses "assy" with "oz-y" should be shot on sight. That should help with the population problems.
Soda is disgusting. I'd rather die of thirst than drink it.
I don't drink soda either. I'm a recovering addict (uh, no joke) but it's been so long that when I had a little bit last week, there was just too much sugar and I had a headache for hours afterwards. And this was just a Sprite, I wouldn't want to know what something like Coke would do to me!
I like the dumbest soap opera on earth...Passions. I watch it everyday, and it gives me hope for making it some day on television with such untalented actors on that show. Haha!
1.Unless they perfect people who pick on fat people for being "flawed" beings are just hypocrites. Simply assuming that fat people eat fried **** all day and don't exercise is misguided. Most of the fat people I know are quite active with average diets. That said, I agree it's annoying when fat people whine about being fat WHEN they do fall into the minority that do simply eat too much sans exercise...and I'm fat. People should just mind they're own bees wax. If someone wants to be a fat-ass that's they're choice. Same with smoking. As long as someone doesn't smoke around me (second hand-smoke), they have every right to do it. Their choice.
2. I think Charlize Theron's performance in Monster was overrated.
3. I'd rather watch unattractive good actors than attractive poor or mediochre ones.
4. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it's spin-off Angel are some of the most intelligent shows in modern television.
5. I love Stephen Sondheim's Passion. Not his best but a brilliant work of art.
6. Young children (about 6 and over) should be able to chose who they want to live with in the case of a divorce.
7. Just because you are blonde, rich, and thin does not automatically make you attractive.
8. Most Actors in Hollywood aren't very good...they just continually play themselves...and some aren't even good at that.
9. Children should not be kept from seeing nudity.
10. If men can be shirtless in public, women should be able to be too.
OH my beloved PASSIONS.
Remember when Timmy died on the show and die in real life pretty much the same day?

Yeah, all you anti-fat posters--don't piss off us fat people. We'll sit on you.
"Angels in America" Part One is brilliant, but Part Two gets incoherent, sappy, self-righteous, and overlong.
Sondheim's PASSION is crap. It drains out everything that makes musicals pleasurable--grace, lightness, melody, humor, humanity...

If you've seen a show three times, you should be banned from ever seeing it again. Get a life and give your money to someone who needs it.
Getting drunk to have fun is absolutely stupid.
Republicans are not bad people.
People who define themselves as artists are generally annoying.
Being thin is tough too.
Jeans are not made for aforementioned thin people. Anyone who believes this is either buying custom-fitted ones or is fat.
Most people you meet wouldn't care if you died tomorrow.
Most people think they would and when it happens, they mourn because it's 'proper'.
MTV is annoying.
Amen about the jeans, insomniak. I usually end up having to order them online because most stores only have in-stock jeans (and all pants, really) for larger people. If I actually want to walk out of a store with pants, I have to go the day they put out the ones in my size because usually they're all gone within a few hours. It sucks.

Oh, boo hoo. Tell it to Kate Moss and Elle McPherson.
oh it was so sad when Timmy died in real life. I don't know why, but I enjoy that show so much. But the acting on it is terrible! Especially Mrs. Wallace, crazy Beth's mom haha.
