I just wanted to thank Margo for her intelligent posts.
Thank you Margo darling.

Margo, to quote from sorely underappreciated Disney film:
"I'll be your candle on the water."
Ms. Channing, what can I say
As a student, as a friend, and as a fellow Dreamgirls fan
I'm so glad that you joined BroadwayWorld
B.B. Wolf -
Did you know that Helen Reddy was born on October 25th?
Therefore the song quote is rather timely.
I idolize and appreciate MargoChanning.

Margo Channing is life. End of statement.
Margo knows EVERYTHING about theater.
Another one? Haven't we appreciated Margo enough already??
I squeal with delight every time I see Margo's name in the "Last Posted" Column. And Margo knows I don't squeal for just anyone.
Yeah really... I enjoy Margo's posts, but enough already with these ass-kissing, friend and clique-endorsing, self-congratulatory, appreciation threads. They're boring. If you're that enamormed with someone, send them a PM.

Frankly, I'm a little exhausted by these threads too -- though I certainly thank people for their kind words. I really just don't have the kind of ego that needs (or wants) this kind of constant stroking and attention -- it makes me more than a little uncomfortable. Honestly, I've gotten enough "appreciating" from you folks in the last few months to last a lifetime. From here on out, PLEASE feel free to ignore me altogether and heap all of that unearned praise on someone else.
Appreciate?
Hell, does love count?
I think Margo is full of himself. All someone has to do is read that EVITA thread to know Margo KA-LEARLY doesn't know what he's talking about.
How would you feel about a "roast" in your honor, Margo?
"I wash my face, then drink beer, then I weep. Say a prayer and induce insincere self-abuse, till I'm fast asleep"- In Trousers
That would certainly be interesting...
How about a Midtowngym Appreciation thread!

A roast? Uh..... thanks a lot, but, no thanks. Sounds absolutely excruciating.

Midtown, honey, go for it. I certainly appreciate you -- just for being you
Sometimes a girl has to pick up the phone first and call that cute boy in science class, ya know?
If I wait for this group to give me a thread, it could be a while, so i nominate... ME!
YAY for Margo
I've expressed myself on this b4. MARGO ROCKS!!!!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait.
Margo is a man?!
Margo you are AMAZING! Don't ever change.

Things get awfully confusing between Margo and Boobs, huh?
IS MARGO A MAN OR WOMAN?!

Nugget Sweetie, once upon a time ...
... there was a movie, called "All About Eve." Several generations of gay men grew up knowing every line of dialogue from that movie, especially the lines uttered by the character played by Bette Davis, a character known as ...
... MARGO CHANNING.
Chances are, if you run into someone using "Margo Channing" as a nom de net, it's probably not a biological woman, although I'm sure several of the biological women on this board know more of the dialogue of that movie than many of the gay men.
If all this seems confusing to you, FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS, IT'S GONNA BE A BUMPY LIFE!
