Who, Amber?
Someone will have to teach me about getting podcasts, closer to the date, I have no idea how to get them.
I should figure that out too, Sarah.
xoxRogue, I was doing errands on this street right off campus and it was dead. No traffic, only a few people walking around. Then I went into this "mall" (really just an indoor shopping center) and in the lounge, EVERYONE was gathered around the TVs and reacting loudly. At 25 seconds left in overtime, it was 83-81 Syracuse and we got 2 free throws. It was literally down the wire and at the last SECOND, Syracuse blocked UConn's shot right at the net and stayed ahead. It was so awesome.
CS, it's really easy. Usually, there's a link on the website and it just automatically opens in iTunes.
It's easy to you, which means it's going to take me an hour to figure out.
Guess what? There are birds chirping outside my window. That's right, birds, and they're chirping. You know what that means? Spring.
I'm in the middle of typing an e-mail to the lovely Mr. Pascal asking him if he has any plans to put out a songbook for Civilian, or if one has been made/is in production.
Talk me out of it, please. I don't need to humiliate myself again today.
That's a perfectly legit question to ask him! I'd expect an answer sometime in 2009.
I have chirping birds too! And squawking ones flying in V's over my house! Spring is almost here! I'm so ready to wear capri's and have it be sunny until dinner time! I just sat on the back deck for 20 minutes and it helped my mood a little. I think I'm just done with winter.
I have no birds chriping out here. We still have snow on the ground, too.
It was raining all day today, but it was helping the snow melt, so I forgave it.
Wow, that sounds exciting Skittles. There are going to be some angry people at my school tomorrow. It will make for an interesting day.
We have a little bit of snow as well...it's just some from the last snowfall. It hasn't really been cold though...It was nice out.
Both of my shows rehearse on the same day.
Okay, I feel like such a dork. I spent FOREVER typing this up, and I'd like to know what you guys think of it. I hope it doesn't sound too overbearing or anything...
"Dear Mr. Pascal:
First off, I would just like to say how much I admire your work in Rent, the Cabaret revival, Aida, and most recently, Civilian. I picked up this album a little while ago, and I still can't stop listening to it! It's one of the most musically and lyrically beautiful albums I've heard in a long time. I hope you put out another album like it in the near future.
Now, on to my question. I play guitar, and after having listened to many of the guitar-oriented songs on Civilian, I've become very interested in learning your songs. I've tried sitting down with the album and my guitar and figuring out your songs on my own, but it isn't as easy as it would seem. Your chord progressions are genius and very original, but a pain to figure out!
Anyway, I was curious to know if there is a Civilian songbook coming out, or if one has come out already. If not, I definitely think that one should be made. I can't be the only one who wants to learn your songs.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
[My full name]"
Too much? Too little? Perfect? A bad idea alltogether?
Perfect.
I feel like he's going to read it and laugh his head off, though (if he's the one who actually reads it). I felt like an idiot typing it.
Maybe it's not such a good idea...

JL, I greatly dislike you right now. Have a blast!
guitargeek, nice email! Certainly different from most of what he recieves I'm sure. I'd totally be down with a songbook myself...Oh, and it's Matt Nathanson that's going to be here in April. I heart him. A lot. (Adam, I still love you too )
Guitargeek, I would definitely send it if I were you. Just, you know, don't be expecting a response for another year
I'm honestly not expecting any response, but I guess it's worth a try.
I'll look at it again later when I have a fresh mind and send it. Dinner's almost ready.
Guitargeek, I think that's perfect. You can totally call him Adam, though!
That sounds like a very good email.
Yeah, I wasn't sure what to put. Maybe he'll be impressed that I called him "Mr. Pascal." Heh.
awww. You can call him that if you want. But he won't mind if you call him Adam.
Let's take bets on when he writes back!
I say April '07. Don't ask me why.
Hey guys sorry to jack your thread but I have an Adam question......Does anybody have any info on his tour schedule? I am dying to see him in Cleveland at Case Western. I thought if anybody would know you guys would! I must confess I lurk on this thread all the time. I'm finally gonna join in cause the man is so hot I can no longer stay quiet:)Thanks!
The dates are all listed on his MySpace page.
