So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

omg, just saw the broadway festival video. Tom and Jason are the two singing DRS song, Dirty Rotten Number. Well, it's really just Tom singing but Jason is standing there, looking cute. check it out! oh, and an old woman says that the Rent song was her favorite. Very funny.

wow, annie is going to have a hard time catching up tomorrow. we just went through 15 pages in one day. that is more that what we have done on a cam day recently. this is so weird. why? cause it was snowing? or were we just bored?

Aww...everyone think of me while I sit in class during Jet Song The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread

Dre, even though I'm not able to listen, do you ever play pure instrumental songs, like overtures or Prologue or Rumble or Dance at the gym from West Side? I request that on behalf of everyone, there's just so much feeling in them. Def do those from West Side and among the best overtures are Gypsy, Phantom, My Fair Lady, ooh or the Ragtime symponic suite, that's awesome! I'm sure there's a lot of good Gershwin overtures as well.

Edit: I really wanna go to the Drama League concert tomorrow, but the cheapest tickets are $85. I couldn't really justify paying more than $50...hmm, does anyone wanna contribute to the those-of-us-who-live-vicariously-though-Panda-must-help-her-to-go-as-many-Broadway-events-as-possible fund? Dre - thanks for remembering me...I will be here and I can see now, that i will weep a little at the end, I mean Miss Saigon, The next Ten Minutes and For good are really great songs that make me weep a little.

amanda, i have played instrumentals before. I guess I can put those in. PM those or I will forget next week.

annie, I know. crazy stuff went on. and glad that you will be weeping. lol. always makes me happy when I can make you weep. lol.

edit: ok, going to bed now. going to listen to 'Capitol Steps' while trying to sleep. anyone know them? they take well known songs and write new lyrics that are mainly about making fun of politics at the time. so funny! night!

I saw the Capitol Steps at my GW orientation, they were great! Though of course they did some of their songs to the tunes of showtunes, and I was the only one to know the rhythms of I Feel Pretty and umm...oh phooey, what was the other? Oh!! Maria! Right they were both WSS.....hahaha I remember, Maria was turned into "Korea" and it was all about how Bush had no clue where on the map Korea was. Umm...I can't remember what they did for I Feel Pretty. Oh yeah!! John Edwards came out and sang "I Am Pretty!" And the best is what I'm sure you'll hear on the CD, they took words and scrambled the letters to have Clinton saying what should have been a political speech and turning it into a really dirty speech by just changing the letters....or was it vice-versa...hmm...

Annie, don't get me wrong I adore "Her Or Me", I mean all songs of Miss Saigon are great, but why is that the one you love and that makes you cry? "Fall Of Saigon" is the one that makes me cry most, then "Bui Doi." Oh and "I Swear I'll Give My Life For You." And in turn of my favorites, "Last Night Of The World" "American Dream" "I Still Believe" "I'll Give My Life..." "Why" I'd say come before "Her Or Me." Is there something specific about it, the message that you love?

So I'm watching Pippin...had no clue it was a play within a play where they stop to yell at each other for saying the wrong lines, and that it's a pure comedy and stuff. Oops. Well, the music's still great, and Ben Vereen portrays his original role, and Chita's in this tape and Pippin is really good. He has weird hair though.

amanda - I don't know Miss Saigon at all...really. I found that song because I got the Christmas carol - The musical for Christmas and I liked the woman's voice who played "dr. fraser crane's" lol mother. So I was surfing on the net and I found out that her name is ruttie henshall and she is quite a celebrity especially in England although this was her first movie.
I downloaded a couple of songs and I loved it because I love her singing voice so much..then I found out that it was a song from Miss Saigon...end of story.

I don't even know what Miss Saigon is all aboaut...I am not a big fan of classic musical (classig means 70's or 80's).

What is the point of opening school and plastering all over the website classes in sessions when teachers (as well as students) can't get to class, (although teachers don't get penalized)and classes are being rampantly cancelled? Yes thats right 2 out of my 3 classes have been cancelled today. I'm on a roll. And yes not one of these classes managed to send out an E-mail perhaps informing students that the class was in session.

The campus is an icy pit of terror, handicap students are desperatly trying to make their way to a class that very well might be cancelled, hell everyone is trying to make their way across in the ten minutes between classes to little avail.

It snowed for 24 hours folks, sometimes you just have to close the damn school. Yes, the main highways are primarily clear although some stretches are still dangerously icy and uncleared, but who the heck lives on a highway anyway. Residential roads are a mess, truly dangerous. The majority of this school commutes. Does it take a death toll to close this school...
